Kenny 'Kipper' Lynch. Passed away aged 81. Those of my age or perhaps even younger will remember his many appearances in films (The Plank, Curry and Chips with Spike Milligan, Carry on Loving) and numerous tv shows, whilst also being a singer/songwriter
Good all-round entertainer over the decades. He was a good boxer, had a decent voice, great trumpet player, could dance a bit as well. Big mates with Tarby and Bruce Forsyth and always brought a smile and plenty of fun.
Sorry to learn of his passing.

Who isn't big mates with Tarby?
When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?
Wrote Sha La La La Lee for the Small Faces, which they hated but their manager Don Arden, Sharon Osborne’s dad, made them do it apparently. As pop pap goes, it’s not bad. Made by Steve Marriott’s excellent voice tbf.
Think he was in Porridge and always had bit parts in other comedy shows. Somebody mentioned about his permanent sun tan one day,Kenny said,"Yeah,me mam used to burn everything". Wonderful entertainer, lost a good one there. RIP Kenny.

You mean,City fans, "Sha La La La Summerbee". United fans,"Who the fookin` `ell is he?"
This bit was news to me... He used to write songs with Buster Mottram ex-British tennis player and supporter of Enoch Powell/far right politics!
Funny ol' game Saint.
Think it more accurate to say mottram was a supporter (possibly member) of the national front. Enoch Powell might have had strong views on what mass immigration would lead, to but his politics generally were never far right....he encouraged folks to vote labour in the first 1974 general election.
