We had a fair injury time at Darlington once. I think it might have been Curtis Main that got clattered. Cant remember how long it was though. Memory wants to say 18.

We had a lengthy one at home for Wayne Evans pulling the net off its frame, too.

Talking of Darlington, the opening day when Martin Hodge went off in the first half would have seen quite a lot of added time before he returned in the second half.

How they have done as well as they have in the last couple of years playing a back three with Niall Canavan in it is a mystery.

The 4-4-2 is starting to look a formation we are comfortable with as Humphrys has someone to link with.

3-0 at HT. He hasn't scored but Humphries the best player on the pitch so far & easily his best 45 ( or 64 ) minutes for us so far. Needless to say Roberts has been very good too with a bit of cheeky defending when he flicked it over an attackers head. Hope we don't get too cocky for the second half, but looking good for 3 points so far

I do like the 4-4-2 we tend to set up with players out wide that are just as comfortable playing in the middle so it tends to be quite flexible but relatively solid and then if we need more going forward we have Baah and Tavares as options.

Maybe I missed it but did we start 442 today or was it a 433 from the start? I saw it as 433 and then about 5 mins after the sub we reverted to 442 with Olly dropping back.

Are we capable of protecting this lead for an hour though?

Time will tell but I think we should

It can be a bit of both, so possibly. Having Rathbone on the left allows for it. The main thing is it encourages the ball being put into the box with two forwards looking for it, as opposed to pass, pass, pass waiting for an opening.

Poor defending for all our goals but who cares! We actually looked like a normal team in the first half.

We definitely started as a 442, but as stated by, er 442, it is flexible.

It was also pleasing to see BBM’s plan of playing Humphrys and Beesley together paying off - for five minutes.

early goal makes all the difference - forces opposition to play and allows us to counter (plus we have had the run of the ball). We'll miss Beesley though.

Having made 3 changes they're obviously having to go for it and take silly chances, a fine chance to hit them on the counter
