The laughable Shrewsbury bid of £150k seems to be having the effect of making some clubs think we will just roll over and sell our best assets for a couple of chocolate covered peanuts and a stale mince pie.

There should be complete support for the board right now. If we choose to sell a player at whatever fee they believe is right, then that’s how it is and supporters should back that. It’s only a personal opinion, but this was always a season of transition with everything that has happened/is happening, and there’s been enough out on the pitch to enjoy along the way with clear signs that Stockdale not only has the makings of a good manager, but one which fits Dale as a club.
If any of Morley, Beesley, O’Connell leave, we already have heard that it will be on terms that suit us as a club. That is where we are and things will evolve, even if it might be disappointing to see such players depart when we might not let them go if it was our call. | |

I think one of them owns a fly that has been fixed to a wall!
I do love the speculation myself and would love to be in the know on this. However only the club, Morley and his agent really know the state of play. It would be disappointing to think the club had accepted two separate offers, rather than do some horse trading. Although the player ultimately has to express preference, and he deserves the right to control the situation.
