....urging City fans to come on Saturday because he regards us as dangerous. Streuth, what has he been watching! We haven't been dangerous in years - except to ourselves!

It does make me smirk that these teams with huge wealth and depth and quality of squad with boundless money still go on about being tired and having to play twice a week and that despite their success their fans stay away!

Then we will have the post match comment from Pep (having beaten us) about how nice a team we are and that we play football the way he likes! Not that I am cynical or anything!

Would love to see him work with our budget. This weekend is utterly pointless. Barring a miracle of biblical proportions we all know the result. Anything under 4-0 will be seen as decent.

So Man city had an attendance of 38 000 in their last game. Nearly 20 000 under capacity. Pep has asked more people to turn up, because he is upset the attendance was so low. Does he not realise that people have been on furlough, lost their jobs and not so many can afford it, even at the top clubs? Pep earns millions a year. Just rediculous that he doesn't realise that most people don't earn in a year what he earns in a day.

Aren't they averaging about 4 or 5 goals a game at home and that was against, with due respect, better teams than us. And did you see who they brought off the bench last night!
I think you're prob right about your prediction

I don’t get why people are soo certain that City are gonna win!? I mean they did play a midweek game where the likes of Grealish, De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva etc all played in, so we will certainly have the fitness over them. And we’ve shown that we can get results against these teams ever since Ralph took over, so I don’t get why soo many saints fans are soo certain we’re gonna loose, as our performances against Man U and West Ham we’re both pretty decent, and even Newcastle, it’s just in that game we didn’t take our chances.
As yeah they’re certainly favourites, but why people think we’re going to be loosing like 4-0 doesn’t make sense, as it’ll almost certainly be a close game, whether they do end up winning or if we can snatch a draw or even a win like when we played them in lockdown at home with Che’s wonder strike.

I think he probably does understand that he earns a lot more than his supporters. Not sure what that has to do with him hoping to see more supporters turning out to support the team?

Yep, you would think that he would realise that the reason they aren't turning up in the same numbers as before is because they can't afford it, after a major pandemic! They certainly arn't not going because they are unhappy with their team! They just can't afford to go to go to so many games, and Pep obviously doesn't realise this otherwise he wouldn't ask more to turn up. I'm sure if they could afford it, the Man City fans wouldn't need to be asked to watch their world class team. It's the same at other clubs too, after covid. But this is the same guy that said Man City didn't have any money, and then signed Grealish, so it's not surprising.

Liverpool and Chelsea both had full houses this week for CL games, and Man Utd will when they play, so furlough, job losses and affordability didn't affect them.

City in previous seasons haven't sold out for CL group games, they haven't got the supporter base of these 3 clubs as the majority of their fans are local unlike the others.
So fair play to them, it's expensive and they play more games than anyone else during the season.

Bad darts from Pep, keep your mouth shut in future.

Yep, you make the point. City don't have the huge support across the world like Man U and Liverpool have. If local Man U fans can't afford to go, the seats get filled by tourists so no issues there. Not so many at Man City and at every other club. The fans can't afford to just come and watch as Pep put it. Some people have lost their jobs and don't have the money to pay these super stars anymore. People like Pep obviously think the fans can simply "turn up" and money is no issue.

Citehs last 4 home games Everton W 5-0, Norwich W 5-0, Arsenal W 5-0 and Leipzig W 6-3. 😜
Is it worth us even turning up? Of course it is! Even though a 3 goal or less defeat would be deemed a moral victory, who knows they may get a mindset of steam rolling teams and if suddenly things dont go to plan they may lose their way a bit, he says mote in hope than expectation 😉
No matter how well we do on the pitch we still have to contend with Moss as ref and Atkinson on VAR 🙄
Do either or both get hard ons for Man U and or Scousers and may let that sway decisions, or are they just bend over and lubed up for The EPL bigshots?

Exactly Leipzig showed how vulnerable they can be and if we keep it tight at the back, Mcarthy plays a blinder AND Boja up front with Che we may get a point....... I'VE JUST WOKEN UP WHAT WAS I SAYING?......

We're also 16/1 to get a win. Got to be worth a couple of quid surely!!

Well ok, someone else's couple of quid but you never know, we've done it before

Also Pep has told the fans it's an important game and they'll need the support!

Sorry, it was more the fact that under Koeman we would play anyone home or away and be confident of beating them all. Nowadays its more about hoping for a clean sheet and nicking the odd goal.

Well you say that but we beat Liverpool last season 1-0, drew twice against Chelsea last season and beat them in the one before that, have had many draws against Man U both home and away, as well as many other good results against the “top 6”, all of which were under Ralph, which now includes a 0-0 to city as well as the 1-0 win so yeah I think the Hastenhurtle days are just as good
