The problem isn't receiving the money, it's numpty head Jenkins being able to spend it. Pondering fckwit has lost many a transaction because of his lack of leadership and decision making.

I suspect most people voting no are doing so precisely because they know that the money won't be reinvested in the team by our "investors ".

Aye thats true. Other objectives, and Jenkins proven inability to conclude the necessary transactions to strengthen might well mean we'd be better hanging on to any assets we have and settling for less money to strengthen, but assuming it were true, and we had to do that because we couldn't manage the windfall properly, it'd probably be chucking away our last chance to really boost the odds on survival.
