Here we have major problem in Wales. All our media is Cardiff based and therefore Cardiff biased. SWEP is a prime example and is now yet another mouthpiece for Cardiff.
We have a media akin to a dictatorship in the Principality.
What are WAG doing about it? Openly pushing the case for Cardiff. Swansea or Wrexham could easily be in line as well if the political will was there. It would also go a small way to alleviating the very unhealthy situation we currently have.
Edit: BBC Cardiff are all over this one like a rash. It is their headline story that the 'Welsh Government' is recommending it. As usual they are looking no further than their own doorstep. |  |

I must missing the point here. It's moving from London? There is no way if it came to Wales that it would go anywhere but Cardiff. It just wouldn't. It would otherwise go to Birmingham, or Manchester wouldn't it? So it's Cardiff or England, and it's better having jobs in Wales than England? |  |

Why Cardiff? A media HQ can be built anywhere. Your argument is exactly what we will get from our AMs. The idea that a mid sized regional administration City should get everything is just plain daft.
We are in an age where in England efforts are being made to redistribute jobs and therefore wealth across the whole area. Scotland is doing the same although in fairness their assembly has always done more than ours.
In Wales we carry on compounding the errors made in England by centralising everything in the SE allowing the rest to deteriorate both economically and infrastructure wise. | |
