Had a quick look and a couple of interesting threads.
- Posters are pushing for a couple that de-rail almost every thread in the defence of the Board / Yanks to be banned. Sound familiar? Seems they don’t have an ignore button yet!
- They’ve drafted a Supporters letter to the Board/Yanks that summarises fans concerns. Not a bad idea albeit suspect it’ll go in the bin on receipt, but they are trying to use letter to get more media coverage of what’s going on. May help Trust / pressure on Yanks.

Dear Board & Owners,
There are a significant number of lifelong Swansea City supporters, me included, who have supported the club through the lows and highs of the last 50 years. We have seen the struggles and disappointments, as well the highs of recent years.
We have always been close to the Club and fresh calls for unity leave us confused. We are united with our Manager and Playing squad, but it seems that over recent years the Board & Owners have moved away from us. That is not something we, as fans, can resolve, it requires you as the Board & Owners to return to the community way of operation that formed the bedrock of our success.
We, the fans, have had to endure, in recent years. not just disappointment and relegation, but what appears to be the systematic dismantling our Club’s previous ethos and modus operandi, whether by accident or design. The Club is by far worse off as a result, and it isn’t something supporters approve of and will not ecourage the unity we need as a Club, so we can prosper in future.
Despite, the loss of the ‘The Swansea Way’, the change from Football-led identification and recruitment of hungry and talented players (both young and experienced) to extravagant and wasteful transfers, poor decision making regarding managerial appointments, and eventual relegation, we continue to support our Club.
The Board & Owners have clearly presided over a series of disastrous outcomes but the supporters continue to be loyal, as is clearly demonstrated by the large crowds still attending the Liberty Stadium for home games.
However, with all the poor stewardship over recent years, the current debacle regarding the transfer and loan windows, resulting in a squad, that is short on absolute personnel, personnel in key roles, and coverage for players suffering from injury, loss of form and yellow cards, is nothing short of indefensible.
At this point, it is worth saying, none of these comments reflect on our new manager Graham Potter, his coaching and recruitment teams and the players. We were all excited by the new appointment of Graham and the return to football and scouting led recruitment, and indeed the encouragement of academy graduates into the first team. Four of whom have now appeared regularly in the first team. The addition of the new players during the transfer window also are all exciting prospects who we have welcomed and already feel are ‘Jacks’ who will we hope start the renaissance of our Club.
Unfortunately, the renaissance will not occur until we have a squad with enough players in key roles and coverage for players who are injured. Already the decisions not to recruit key roles and essential replacements has put at risk what could have been an extraordinary start to the season. The season could easily become one where injuries could see the hard work the players have put into the initial matches at risk.
We understand that with the reduction in income following relegation, savings are required, and we support this, as we want to get back to the previous way of doing business. Whilst surgery is required, amputation is not. You cannot expect to reduce the size of the playing squad and not replace in key areas. The Academy is supporting with the graduates, but even allowing for the 6 or 7 players now seriously involved in the first team squad, which is excellent by any standards, it is not enough. The fact that within the first 5 matches, players are playing through injury, however slight, is an extraordinary position to find ourselves in, and a direct result of the Board & Owners approach during the transfer and loan window.
You must put this right. You have a limited opportunity now to resolve the squad issues before the transfer/free agent window closes. If you have any intention to create unity, this is your opportunity. If you do not take this opportunity you will certainly lose my support and I believe you will lose the support of a considerable number of my fellow supporters.
You need to talk to us without the simplistic rhetoric and with honesty and openness.
You claimed, as Owners, that you will take us to the next level. This phase has now become a standing joke amongst supporters, as we can perceive nothing you have done to support this clear statement.
We have never asked for additional money but surely you see the best outcome for Owners, Supporters and the Club, is to act now and support our Manager and Players with a few additions, as the opinion of most of the supporters is, if you do that Graham Potter and his team are talented enough to get us into promotion contention. If you don’t, then you will be telling us your statement of ‘…taking us to the next level’ was meaningless.
For us — the supporters — it is heart-breaking to see what is unfolding in front of us and it feels as though either you don’t care or aren’t competent to stop us slipping into footballing obscurity. Please prove us wrong. |  |

But yes ok, although things like players playing through injury should be no surprise - it happens all the time (Mawson playing through a niggle that needed surgery in the summer, for example). So a little bit naive. Very polite mind (not sure if that's good or bad!).
