It would be easy to underestimate Rotherham given their lowly position and small club status. But their record at home is pretty impressive: 3 wins, 3 draws and a solitary defeat. They have also drawn their last two away games, having lost the first 6. On top of that, Michael Smith, like Ollie, ended a goal drought at the weekend. He's 3rd in the league for aerial duels won, a further test for our somewhat suspect defence against high balls.
Rotherham are at the other end of the scale when it comes to pass accuracy and pass completion. You can tell what their approach is from the fact that their manager after their latest draw said "There were too many sideways passes for me". Still, the last time we played against a team as direct as Rotherham was against Birmingham - probably the only game this season we unequivocally deserved to lose.
I'm still confident mind - but there's no room for complacency. This is a game where we will have to earn the right to play. Fer and Fulton should start in front of the back four - if only to add additional height for set plays. |  | | |

Yes, when we sadly lost Terry Coles, killed by a police horse in a lane far too narrow to have mounted officers down. The location of the ground was shocking, in the middle of a scrap yard. The ITN main news report was about that match that night. There were 2,000 Jacks walking down that lane and an imbecile on a horse. The atmosphere was not like that of a Championship decider, it was quite nasty.
