A couple of papers reporting he’s had some big, big financial backing off Arron Banks. Makes you think what the heck is going on.

"Banks told the programme: “Channel 4 attempts to smear myself and Nigel come at a time when the Brexit party is riding high in the polls, so it should come as no surprise to anyone.”"

So we should expect a court case soon from Banks then?

Well done people of Merthyr.

Very few people supported Farage.
Not welcome in Wales.

Shirley welsh people can see that Farage does not care a damn about Wales.

It’ll slowly come out. Carole Whatdoyoucallit for the Guardian has been digging for a while and Banks has always been there or there abouts. Banks strongly linked to secretive Russian activity too.

You can be clear that Farage is promoting Banks’ interests.

At the very least Farage is taking the piss with his man of the people act. He’s being seriously funded to live a luxury lifestyle whilst positioning the UK so that his buddies can make a shedload of money. You almost have to admire him for how well he plays the system.

Is it moral? No. Is it legal? Who knows - the activity around the referendum wasn’t. And there’s warning bells already about the Brexit Party.

It depends who you mean by ‘we’.

UK is a net contributor, but Wales is a net recipient.

Surely the relevant point is that the subsidy does not come from outside the UK. The EU may be the channel, but it is not the source. The gripe of many in the valley communities is that they had little say about what the structural funds were spent on. In any event the Welsh surplus is not as clear cut as Plaid likes to make out;

While this is no doubt true, the same narcissistic self serving behaviour can easily be applied to a large percentage of politicians which is the reason our system is in such a mess in the first place.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

Not really.

Links with Bannon.
Links with Russia.
Unexplainable Leave funding.
Use of Facebook data on an industrial scale.
Illegal activities proven on Leave side.
BBC silent on a vote that would have been null and void had it been binding.

The truth will out.
People will be going to jail.
This is just the start.

Being bank rolled as it's put is not an issue and after the elections he must diligently report who has assisted financially. Each of his registered supporters has paid £25 x100,000 or so. It really doesn't matter how much money is in the pot it's no different to the trade unions bank rolling labour or them collection £3 for membership or some posh Oxbridge numpty chucking half a million at the tory's.

Equal times and times are changing. I do believe out means out.
I voted to remain, but I won't let that taint my belief everyone deserves to campaign without being assaulted or abused and democracy is evidently ok.

There was mention yesterday that Farage was paying ( or the other bloke) 20k a month for his security, I applaud him for that. At least unlike the so called major party's it's not coming our of tax payers pockets. But that seems to be an issue as well.

OK I've changed it.

Farage is now more popular than Corbyn and Theresa May. Price of Plaid Cymru just not in contention

It looks as if the Brexit Party will take 3 seats out of the 4 in Wales hopefully all 4

Unlike a constituency in Swansea that voted to leave. But their MP decided that his constituents were dull and didn’t know what they were doing.

Then voted to stay in the EU in all the votes in Parliament

He is most probably right. As I’m sure they will vote for him in the next general election

How dull is that

Yeah massively popular. Just look at the size of these crowds in Merthyr!!

So called ‘antifacists’ were blocking the roads outside the rally..

Also the photo was taken 1 hour before the event, it’s like when Cardiff fans criticise our away followings with photos taken 20 minutes before kick off.

Road blocks in Merthyr!!

That photo ties up with the "official" pictures in the OP, where there are crowds up to the bus, but not beyond.

And an hour before the speakers arrived? Was it held at night then? Just look at the length of them shadows.

Whataboutery is all politics has become. When you do it it isn’t when they do it it is. (not aimed at you)

I think Farage is a total cuńt and it would be nice to see him lose his teeth to get rid of that hideous grin but blocking roads is not on,he should be allowed to speak and people should be allowed to listen however much we disagree with it.
