Joe Allen is 29 years of age, his 4 year contract extension at Stoke will take him up to 32/33, his current market on Transfermarkt (which tends to be quite accurate) is £7m, his wages are reported as being circa £50k per week. Over the course of us current contract he will arm something like £10m, as much as he’d like to come back I can’t see him forsaking that amount of wedge.
He’s a cracking player and the kind of player the club needs, (he was immense for Wales last Tuesday) but it isn’t going to happen, I reckon the only place he will go is back to the Premier League. | | | |
