| The death of the FA cup 12:04 - Jan 4 with 3154 views | MrSwerve | Does anyone care anymore? I think there’s one match live on BBC (Liverpool v Everton) and the rest is behind a paywall (BT sport). Falling attendances and most teams inside the top two divisions putting out second string sides. No excitement about these FA cup weekends anymore. Leeds v Arsenal on Monday night. | |

| The death of the FA cup on 15:32 - Jan 4 by exiledclaseboy | Yeah but the problem with the new TV deal from 2021 is that ITV get to show some games and they should be legally disbarred from covering sport on account of them being absolute shit at it. |

Their lowest home FA Cup crowd was 4194 in January 2015 not bad for Wales biggest club.

Bloke on the box just said that there were 2000 Cardiff fans there and (I think) about 700 away fans. Kin ell, that's crapattendance for a Championship club.

It's honestly pathetic. They got about 4k for Luton (0-3 loss, 24th in the league) in the EFL Cup. Even a neutral fan should realise how plastic the scum fans are. As for the result, they played a 'strong' team, and still couldn't beat Carlisle, at home, who are 21st in League 2. Better yet, they have to add a replay onto their schedule, and they'll surely need to play their first team to get a result

| The death of the FA cup on 09:59 - Jan 5 with 553 views | Best_loser | The FA cup has lost its lustre It's still good for the smaller clubs The time when the country came to a standstill at 11 am, people even lived the build up, the coach journey of the teams, that's gone forever The final has become bland now Maybe they should switch to a 9pm floodlights match | | | |
