Oli McBurnie: Why he is liked.... 20:08 - Jan 13 with 4059 viewsThrasher6

Oli McBurnie has been one of the greats for us. His record is second to none...non negotiable. But like many others (who I will list) he transcends an ordinary player into something different. Mostly it's a character thing....these guys are interesting...engaging...and they buy into our club. We like that...they are one of us:
Here's a list I will start but feel free to add..
Oli McBurnie
Angel Rangel
Chico
Leon Britton
Lee Trundle
Andy Robinson
Martinez....?

Look I have missed a lot...but over to you...

Fans love him because they can identify with him. He’s very approachable, has a bit of mischief in him and he loves the Swans. He’s got more in common with the average fan than most Premier league footballers.

But he certainly wasn’t “great” for us

He did reasonably well. That’s about it. 20 odd goals almost 60 league games. Nothing to write home about.

22 goals in his first full season in the Championship says otherwise...
