With Stoke's financial situation, a threat of FFP breaches, and only one more season of parachute payments (15M), I can't imagine the rest of his career to be that promising. Stoke aren't getting promoted in the near future, and the only clubs that would take him would be bottom half Championship clubs, at best.

I'm not pissed off with him one bit. If he wants to make himself look like an absolute kunt, that's up to him. Kind of justifies the stick he's been getting.
But as has been said above his career is on a downward spiral, so smile while you can, smile while the money printing machine works. It'll be on the blink once this contract ends.
