Brexit means More Red Tape 20:16 - Mar 7 with 1242 viewsGlyn1

Well of course it does. Strange that Brexit politicians said the opposite with a straight face.

Here's one of many, many examples. Feel free to add your own.

Or alternatively, provide examples where there's less bureacracy because of Brexit (are there any?).

"We'll do it in a gradual way".
That's very reassuring if you're flying out of Britain on January 1st 2021. Good luck.

Glyn, we all know politicians lie. They give us the scenario they want us to believe but we have to read between the lines.
Remember the remain campaign told several howlers that never came true. The truth is always somewhere in the middle.
Brexit was never going to be a "milk and honey" scenario but it doesn't have to be a disaster either. It'll be somewhere in between but will hopefully, over time, keep improving.

Honestly, do we ever hear of there being less red tape? It always increases, it keep politicians and civil servants in jobs.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Managing a business in Germany I can tell you clearly nothing is as bad as it was with red tape. Let’s see how it goes, if people who run businesses can’t comment yet how the fck journalists can ...

OK I've changed it.

I am sure planes will still fly after 31st December 2020.
Just flew back from lanzarote (which is not in the EU) had to take a slightly longer route as once again the French air traffic controllers were on strike.

You don't think Lanzarote is in the EU?

Remind us all again what currency is used there
