That Castlemartin place was a German Army base wasn't it ?, I seem to remember their tanks traveling to the place, are they still there like some Welsh Guantanemo Bay or have we got it back ? [Post edited 18 Mar 2020 21:11]

BAOR used German bases to prepare for the Warsaw Pact attack and the Germans needed more room for vehicle manoeuvres so they were allowed to use Castlemartin from the 1950s or 60s.
It has been used as a firing range by the British Army, Navy and RAF since the 1930s |  |
