Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

I'm proud to be a jack, and proud of those who wish to call themselves a jack even though they are not from Swansea. Proud to be Welsh, but tbh that's only in a sporting sense. Proud to be British because of our history. But yeah, when it comes down to it, i'm proud to be a Jack.

This lockdown appears to be making posters more aggressive. It’s a good job you can only travel for essential reasons or the Marquis car park would be like a blood bath.

Beating up your Planet Swans enemies outside the Marquis sounds like an essential reason to me.
As long as everyone wears masks and surgical gloves. And it could also count as daily exercise 🤔
Didn't Millwall fans go through a phase of wearing surgical masks back in the 70s or 80s? Way ahead of the game, that lot.
Or maybe I just dreamt it.

Unfortunately, living in London, you don’t need to go on holiday to bump into them with alarming regularity. And, more unfortunately, they are often as unbelievably rude and aggressive here as they are when you’re away. Some are absolutely lovely, but sadly most are not.
Didn't think there were thar many Russians in London, apart from the odd oligarch.
I've met loads on holiday, and boy are they rude, although last September there were two giant russian guys with their wives/girlfriends, anyway, there was a couple in their mid to late 70's from Neath that were staying in our Hotel.
Every time they came down to the beach area the two Russian guys would rush about getting sunbeds and parasols for them, and then position them exactly where the Welsh couple wanted them, they done this without fail every day.
I had a drink with the couple at the bar one night (after noticing her accent) and she told me she couldn't speak a single word of Russian, and they not a word of english, although they could communicate with them enough when the Russian guys were getting them drinks from the beach bar.
Goes to show there are good and bad in every nationality.

Know a couple locally. They both have high powered, very well paid and stressful jobs. Two years ago they booked a very expensive week at a top ski resort in Austria. There was a big party of Russian guests who ruined what was meant to be a relaxing week. Drunk in the wellness centre, restaurants etc. Staff did nothing about it because they were getting big tips. They complained to the management but they were out of their depth. On checkout they went to settle the bill expecting some form of discount but there was no bill. The Russian group had been informed of the complaint and had settled it. Funny lot the Russians.

Loads.
Buying up property like there’s no tomorrow.
Some are lovely, as I said, some not so much.

In 2015 the Government issued 122,000 visas for Russians to live in Britain. 97% within 15 days. Fast tracked. I wonder why.

Wales is a nation. Britain is not a nation.
You know the drill ...
Sport can be disproportionately important to a nation without a nation state. I think that may explain some of the extra emotion around our national teams.
And the anthem is simply the best in the world.
Britain can be what it wants, especially the people who live in it. Luckily for the anti brits it's also a democracy so they avoid the more basic ways of dealing with treachery like witnessed in many other countries.
