Amazon Prime 21:39 - May 19 with 5429 viewspikeypaul

What super value this is at £7.99 a month and only money I save in not paying the BBC license tax.

movies,tv series, books & magazines, free next day delivery etc etc. All for the price of a couple of pints.

Just watched All or Nothing the behind the scenes documentary series on Man City 2017/18 season
worth the monthly subscription on its own. They show a small clip of our game at the Liberty against them but include an obvious error in the goals, anyone else spot it?

Also, a massive tax avoidance company that treats its workers like shite.

I seldom (if ever) use them for the purposes above, much rather pay my licence fee so that I can access the wonderful BBC iPlayer and check out what is on BBC4 and 6Music.

Thank you, goodnight and bollocks

OK I've changed it.

Was never a fan of him but his takeover of Lamaque's slot has surprised me. He played Peter and the Test Tube Babies the other week.

Marc Riley is my favourite though and Gideon Coe plays a good mix of stuff too.

Yes mate, Marc Riley on a Thursday evening is entertaining, who is on my T-shirt etc. Simple things are returning to my life and I’m kicking myself for allowing the agenda of others to dictate my well being.

OK I've changed it.

They pay the tax required in the UK, now that we are out of the EU i expect Boris will sort that out as well.

As for treating their workers like shite you must be joking, dont believe all that Panorama and union bull.

They are employing thousands on decent money after only 1 days training, with good benefits and conditions.

My mate works there and he thinks it fantastic, private health care at a reasonable rate. Life assurance, and a good pension.

The private health care is free. Also, there are people who have been at Amazon for ten years or so that have accumulated over £50k in company shares.

No mate just checked, he pays £8 a week for BUPA or AXA health. But you do get free critical illness cover.

He's reading his payslip wrong. Private health care is free. It shows on your payslip as a minus. I've worked for Amazon for over ten years. You do not get free critical illness cover, but if you have been off work for six months then insurance will cover 80% of your wage depending on your illness.

Ignore the lefty guardian reading tw”t.Like you say they pay everything they are required to, and also put food on the table to 10s of 1000s households, everything the envious socialists hate.

Great company to work for and superb service to the customer, that’s why they are so successful, unlike the sh!te outdated BBC who are stealing a living albeit not for much longer once BOJO and Sir Dominic have sorted them out.

I also find the way amazon avoids paying its way and the way it treats employees undesirable but the BBC are hardly angels in fair usage of the license fee. Endless repeats, that god awful Mrs browns boys and the abomination that’s been the latest dr who is indicative of an organisation who knows they’ll never have to compete for viewers.

Your mate is either talking shit or you just made it up. My brother in law worked then and quit after 2 months because of the conditions.

By the way, your mate Boris will do sweet FA to bring these big businesses to book, he wouldn't have the balls anyhow. Labour wanted to and it stated in the manifesto, the tory scum will do nothing because they are getting a slice of it too.

Some people have worked there quite cheerfully since the day it opened, others barely last a day or two. Not the first employer in the area you can say that about, won't be the last either.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

I think he means Radio 2.

If you get a chance to see him then do it, I've seen Craig Charles do his set twice in a club he's brilliant and loves all the nonsense and gets right into it all night not just showing his facing and then disappearing.

Big difference between being a temp worker and a permanent employee too.

No doubt some won't put the work in, but I feel for the ones who work there for months, are let go just before Amazon would have to give them a permanent contract, then hired again a month or two later. I know some who have been on that kind of cycle for years.

I also know permanent employees who love working there.

Last year Amazon in Swansea made 168 temp staff permanent employees. Many temporary staff are given 9 month contracts maximum. Amazon do not have to make them permanent employees when that time comes to an end. Rather they lay them off over the quiet months then re-employ them. Surely you can't expect any company to keep temporary staff when they are not needed?
