I thought we just shaded the game last night, but that we probably needed the extra goal to tilt the overall odds in our favour. Against that, our away form is on the up, and so I still think we have a great chance to progress. Ayew was again the star (despite his penalty miss) and I couldn't help reflecting back on the debate at the beginning of the season about whether it made sense to shell out his wages for the year. The consensus then seemed to be that if we made the playoffs it would have been worth it, so I'd say the decision has been vindicated. | | | |
