Gareth Bale, loves golf

Wales are still without several first-team players for Sunday's Nations League match against Bulgaria but boosted by the return of David Brooks.

The Bournemouth attacking midfielder, 23, was added to the squad on Friday after recovering from an ankle injury.

Wales' long list of absentees includes Aaron Ramsey, Joe Allen, Chris Mepham, Joe Rodon and Tom Lawrence.

Ryan Giggs' side won without them in Finland on Thursday and could make changes for the Bulgaria fixture.

Giggs is considering a first start for Liverpool's 19-year-old full-back Neco Williams after he impressed from the bench in Helsinki.

Williams was one of three players to make their Wales debuts against Finland, with another 19-year-old, Manchester United's Dylan Levitt, starting in midfield and Swansea City centre-back Ben Cabango, 20, coming on as a substitute.

Wales captain Gareth Bale was taken off at half-time as he was lacking match fitness, and the Real Madrid forward's minutes may be managed again in Cardiff.

The same could be true of Liverpool attacking midfielder Harry Wilson, who came on for Bale against Finland.

"We had a few knocks from the other night - Jonny Williams had a knock, Harry Wilson a little dead leg. Gareth a little knock - but everyone trained today [Saturday]," said Giggs.

"Everyone's available with Broosky coming back in and I've got a selection headache. It's a good position to be in."

Brooks, who has not played for Wales since June 2019 because of injury, is a welcome addition to Giggs' attacking options.

West Bromwich Albion forward Hal Robson-Kanu could feature for the first time since 2017.

The 31-year-old is back in the Wales squad after reversing his decision to retire from international football but did not play a minute during the victory in Finland.

Meanwhile, Bulgaria will be without captain Petar Zanev after the defender was injured during Thursday's 1-1 draw with the Republic of Ireland.

Bulgaria facts
Bulgaria is famous as the oldest country in Europe! Founded in 681 AD by Khan Asparuh and since then preserved its original name. Bulgaria is also famous for its natural diversity as mountains, plains, Black Sea Coast, rivers, lakes and hot springs. Wolves and bears are found in abundance in Bulgaria, some actually dance for money.

Wales
Talking of Chinese food, Ryan Giggs, not to be confused with his brother Rhodri, although it is an easy mistake to make is current Wales manager and was born in Canton and wisely moved to Manchester at the age of six. He played for Great Britain on 4 occasions.
Giggs is one of the most decorated footballers of all time. During his time at Manchester United, he won 13 Premier League winner's medals, four FA Cup winner's medals, three League Cup winner's medals, two UEFA Champions League winner's medals, a FIFA Club World Cup winners medal, an Intercontinental Cup winner's medal, a UEFA Super Cup winner's medal and nine FA Community Shield winner's medals. Manchester United and Liverpool are the only clubs in English football history to have won more league championships than Giggs. Giggs captained United on numerous occasions, particularly in the 2007—08 season when regular captain Gary Neville was ruled out with various injuries.
He is co-owner at Salford City. His dad played rugby and apparently liked it quite a lot.

I was expecting a more comfortable scoreline today but would have settled for a 1-0 win before a ball was kicked, we have further strengthened our strong position in the group, I might be getting ahead of myself but I have already got my eye on the results in the other groups, pity Russia held on to win.
I would normally have wanted a draw in the Ireland v Finland game in our league position but in this case I thought that a Finland win might be best for us, all to be seen, after the first round of matches Ireland were our biggest dangers now after two rounds it's back to Finland (as it was when the draw was made) but we have a healthy advantage over them at this stage.

Fyi me and builthy met aload of croatian lads in osijek, they wouldnt let us buy a beer, top blokes the lot of them.

For the return fixture I met them in cardiff, took them to a few bars before and after the game, they mentioned the anthem and how proud we are as a small nation like themselves.

Btw builthy couldnt make the home game (or so he made out) so I had to buy them beers

Our next two nations league games are away, even if we lose both we finish with two home games and if we win them and then we are almost certain to top the group (infact I don't think Ireland or Finland could finish above us in that scenario and Bulgaria would have to win every game to finish above is if we win our 2 remaining home games).

BLM relates to USA not the UK, Wales or Bulgaria. The 'Taking of the knee' was a protest against police brutalitiy against black people in the USA. I know this because the gentlemen that started this protest said so. I do not think EPL or EFL fans will accept footballers protesting against USA police brutality or by inference UK police brutality. We have policing by consent in the UK.

We started the game with six players born in England, and if we are to be perfectly honest would all probably choose to play for England if their place in the squad were guaranteed.
I point this out only because of the strong anti-English sentiment that exists with many Welsh fans, and the political capital that benefits the Independence movement in Wales when Wales teams excel in the world of sport.
I ideally would like SCFC to enjoy a long future in the English League system, it's taken for granted by many, but things could change, and a little more respect to English born players and recognition of the benefits we enjoy in the EFL would certainly be a positive step.

You use a faulty and frankly disrespectful premiss.

" and if we are to be perfectly honest would all probably choose to play for England if their place in the squad were guaranteed."

Both David Brooks (born in England) and Neco Williams (English grand parent(s)) would have very strong claims to a place in the English squad and were offered a place. They chose Wales over England.

You are over estimating your own importance.

Nobody gives a feck what you think.

How do you feel the black England players feel running out in front of the Farage and Boris half wit fan club that follow their national team ?
I should stress this is the England football support, not English people.

Nobody can take issue on this subject without the ‘bigots and racists’ slur being used. Such total ignorance. Here’s the point I was trying to make, you ignoramus:

The sentiment of black lives matter is irrefutable - every life matters. It goes without saying. But the BLM movement has been hijacked by the usual rabble of anarchists and neo Marxists whose true aims goes way beyond protesting about some horrible deaths at the hands of the police in the US. If you think I exaggerate, go browse their website. Apart from their general wish to destroy capitalism and ‘imperialism’ they have some specific grouches. These include “defunding” the police, an end to all border controls and the “decriminalisation of black students in the classroom” (without explaining how they are criminalised at present). Would you like to live in a country with no police and no border controls? Really?

The worse aspect of BLM is they are explicitly anti-white. They identify all the problems of black people as deriving from white people, all the goodwill of white people as bogus or useless, and all the evils from which black people suffer as inherent in white people simply because they are white.

That sounds quite like racism to me; and not just to me, but probably to any white person — not to mention non-activist black people.

That’s why whenever I see footballers ‘taking the knee’ I reach for the sick bucket.

"It goes without saying, stop saying it you people make me sick!"

The "specific grouches" make a lot of sense in the communities that the movement originates from. People growing up in those communities would absolutely prefer to live in a country with no police than what they currently have. It's a hard thing to understand if you don't have that life experience, most police I've known have been hard bstards but I've never feared for my life around them.

US police have way more army-grade weaponry and way less training than ours. Officers who actually live in the communities they police are rare. There is no national database for officers who receive disciplinary action - those who are fired for disciplinary reasons can simply go work the same job in a neighbouring state without issue.

It may be happening on the other side of the world but there's nothing wrong people here showing their support. The idea that fans are "not going to put up with it" and what, bully players into not taking a knee? Not hard to see why football fans have the reputation they do.

I've re-examined my post in light of your quite tenuous points regarding Brooks and Williams. In my opinion both players are still a long way short of the quality and experience to guarantee an England place, but if Williams continues his rate of development, he certainly could be at that level in a year or two, but in any case he was born in Wrexham
After all, I was referring in my post to the six players born in England that started the game.
I should point out that I have followed Wales far and wide for 50 years, enduring some serious disagreements with West Ham and Spurs fans at Wembley matches in the seventies, I'm not a plastic fan by any means, it's been a lifetime of the Swans and Wales for me. But I'm afraid regardless of what anyone says, in future years I believe there may be some serious threats to the position of Welsh clubs competing in an English League. I would now prefer a less antagonistic attitude towards anything 'English' This has been gathering pace with some over recent years, and it's not been well received.
So in view of the potential threat, I would prefer to see a slightly less aggressive attitude in place.

Welsh fans are subjected to what i consider filthy racist abuseat most if not all games. After a period of working overseas I was absolutely shocked at the level of hate in the Anti Welsh chants and close up to these people. Anti Welsh baiting is the last refuge of the far right English racists and I call on the South Wales constabuary to make an example of at least one of these morons when the fans come back. I was with a certain family member who knocked out a Stoke fan for shouting ‘sheepshaggers’ and waving a plastic sheep in kids faces after a game. It was a beautiful thing, maybe not everyone’s answer to someone terrorising small kids, but sometimes no words are needed. I hope that appeases you a bit 👍
