| Croydon police incident on 10:59 - Sep 25 by Highjack | They’ve just asked the guy for his expert opinion and he’s given it. I’m not sure he deserves to be attacked too. There’s probably a lot of frustration within the wider police force about being labelled institutionally racist by morons everyday. |
Spot on, institutional racism that absolutely nobody can explain or show may I add. As I said on the other thread, two officers have been shot in Louisville today too after the Breonna Taylor verdict, which cannot be argued if you look at the facts of the case now they are out. Yet people still happy to stoke the racial tensions leading to these murders and shootings. And still not a single person has been able to put forward any sort of legible argument for it. Truly horrific how politics seems to have got its claws into normally lucid people. Democrats and ''the left'' in general seem more like a religion or a cult now where facts don't matter at all, people genuinely don't care about them - just solely about feelings and faith. It's like talking to a Jehovah Witness. Scary. [Post edited 25 Sep 2020 12:40]

| Croydon police incident on 11:11 - Sep 25 by Highjack | What shite is he and I trying to stir up out of interest? You have a leading ex police officer who has been asked for his opinion and has given it, and I’ve just quoted it word for word. That’s not stirring up shite. There’s no shite involved, that shite was on the bbc website and I merely copied and pasted that shite to add to the discussion on this thread. |
Why did yo choose that particular quote? What do you think he is inferring with it?

| Croydon police incident on 10:11 - Sep 25 by Highjack | Recently when reporting someone who dies involving the police the BBC and other media outlets always insist on pointing out the skin colour of the people involved as if it's vitally important but they must have forgotten to do so for this incident for some reason. [Post edited 25 Sep 2020 10:11]

I have been wondering what colour skin he has, you can guarantee that if it was a white police officer killing a black man, it would be in the headline. Current narrative dictates that we are not allowed to know if the killer is not white though. Lefties can’t see the issue here. [Post edited 25 Sep 2020 13:22]

If you don’t think recent events has contributed to this then your off your head fella. Talking about bitter ex plods etc, one of their former colleagues has just been gunned down doing their job.

Where have I said any of that? I have no idea what has contributed to it, and I won't bother trying to second guess what is what just to fall in line with the way this forum works. I have very good reason to be concerned about today, so don't you worry about that, fella.

He isn't inferring anything, he is quite clearly stating that police are less likely to do thorough and invasive/physical policing now as they are becoming flash points. Which common sense would suggest is accurate. As has been said, if you can't see the link there then I have lost all hope in you.

He’s obviously inferring that in his view police officers are becoming reluctant to search people for concealed weapons in the fear of being accused of racial profiling and being institutionally racist as that is the narrative the BLM morons, the Labour Party, the Democrats, luvvies like Gary Lineker and LeBron James and the colluding media have been constantly peddling for the past six months at least.

Aye, as I expected. His quote is manna from heaven for this board. Here's another quote from someone with a bit more sense on the incident. Former Deputy Assistant Commissioner Rod Jarman told LBC: “We expect officers to be extremely brave and to act with the minimum of force possible. “Everything is as proportionate as possible. If a person is acting very violently they will probably be searched in great detail. If someone is compliant there will probably be a less invasive search. “Officers take a personal risk in order to protect society. “I’m sure there will have been some sort of search. People tend to think every search finds everything and it doesn’t. If a gun is well concealed, some guns are surprisingly small.”

So police officers are expected to be brave, but when they are and... end up using force, cities burn to the ground and they get called racist killers. Like has been said to you many times Neathie, you have had every chance to put your money where your mouth is and show how we are incorrect in stating these absolutely obvious facts. If you want to continue floating in la-la land with LeBron James and Lewis Hamilton then you be my guest, but if you are expecting to float through without stating your opinion while attacking others then you are mistaken, you will be called out for it. There is a saying isn't there, ''shit or get off the pot''. Don't be another coward willing to tell everyone they are wrong without the courage to state where. You won't because you can't, that's clear. [Post edited 25 Sep 2020 13:17]

He was being detained because they were aware he was carrying ammunition of some sort. He should have been cuffed throughout

Because a cop is killed in the line of duty and you immediately attack another cop over his opinion. You obviously have a bit of a problem, because you can't even see it. [Post edited 25 Sep 2020 15:26]
