Because a cop is killed in the line of duty and you immediately attack another cop over his opinion.
You obviously have a bit of a problem, because you can't even see it.

I’m not stirring up shite here but shouldn’t police stations have metal detector things to detect knives, guns and prince alberts?

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

They take the cuffs off you at the custody desk.

How about waiting to see what has happened?

Perhaps they shouldn’t then if they suspect someone is armed

You're telling the wrong one mate, I can't change their SOP's.

By the way, I wouldn't have thought they suspected he was armed, if they did, they would have disarmed him before sticking him in the wagon.

It has been reported that he was stopped under suspicion of carrying ammunition

IOPC regional director Sal Naseem said: "What we have established is that the man was arrested for possession of class B drugs with intent to supply and possession of ammunition.

"The man was handcuffed to the rear before being transported to Croydon custody suite in a police vehicle where he was escorted into the building.

"He remained handcuffed to the rear and seated in a holding area in the custody suite. His handcuffs remained in place while officers prepared to search him using a metal detector.

"It is at the point that shots were fired resulting in the fatal injuries to the officer and critical injuries to the man.

He had a gun either in his back pocket or down the back of his trousers no doubt. God knows how they missed that. Seems like an upstanding pillar of the community.

But to be able to shoot somebody with it while his hands are behind his back and then be able to turn it on himself too... must be some kind of contortionist

This perfectly illustrates why trying to second guess what happened, absolutely pointless.

What do you mean? All anyone has said it they are less likely to be thorough and physical now due to the fake global events painting police as racists.

This may well have contributed to a scenario where a man was able to be detained still having a gun.

Common sense.

That's what I've been thinking. I read the posts, people arguing about the causes and I can't form an opinion on it because all I keep thinking is the poor bugger is dead.

Why did it happen, how did it happen, could it or will it happen again....the officer is dead. Lets get the full facts eh. Not that we'll see all the evidence or facts I suppose but throwing stones at each other right now just seems silly.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Well said

I have read the suspect is none of the things suggested. Sri Lankan. Known to anti-terror for both Islamist and right wing radicalisation. May just be a
Criminal.

Where was the suspect said to be any of those things?

What was said is that due to recent events where police are called racists and thugs for simply doing their job, it’s very feasible that the side of their duty which people can describe as physical or intrusive is being backed off a little as they often become a flashpoint.

That may be the reason someone was still able to have a gun on them whilst in custody.

I was shocked the leftists disagreed when it was suggested and... even more confused why they are pretending that they were right.

Incredibly, incredibly bizarre thread.

This nonsense really does need to stop now. The Democrats and the “woke” athletes really do have blood on their hands.

There needs to be law suits with this continuous libel stream of nonsense and continued and intentional endangerment of the profession.

At eighty years old they probably shouldn’t have to put up with her for too much longer but I fear she contains so much plastic she’ll be around for another 20,000 years.

Did you see her interview the other day where she seemingly and a brain reboot mid interview?
