I didn't realise folklore was indeed fact , maybe Robin Hood did exist
"Madoc, also spelled Madog, ab Owain Gwynedd was, according to folklore, a Welsh prince who sailed to America in 1170, over three hundred years before Christopher Columbus's voyage in 1492."

Elizabeth 1st tried to claim America on the back of Prince Madoc being there, daughters of the revolution put a plaque up (Roosevelt and Bush and the girls).

Continually being banned by Planet Swans for Porthcawl and then being reinstated.
America ,as we know it,was stolen from the native americans so any link with the way they were mullered by all other people's is nothing to be proud about.
An why are we so concerned about events 500 years ago .

By “sailed to America” I assume it means his coracle got caught in a rip tide?
The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

By all accounts a great speaker , didn't he "debunk the myth as an imperialist fiction"
He did but that’s exactly what you’d expect him to say.
I saw him speak back in the ‘80s and he was excellent, brilliant even. I didn’t and don’t agree with a lot of what he used to stand for, and that’s putting it mildly, but he had the ability to project like a revivalist preacher.
They really don’t make ‘em like that any more.

I’d have given anything to have listened to Evan Roberts, Perch.

I think many more will after seeing how inept the Westninster lot are
Almost as inept as Drakeford who with his Labour cabal has wasted 20 years of subsidies from Westminster (under the Barnet formula) let alone the regional development funds from the UK's contribution to the EU which the EU returns less it's cut.

You never said that and this thread is about Ireland.
Actually it was not about Ireland it was about the British government and the decision not to prosecute British soldiers fighting terrorism in a part of the UK.
