I think we are two quality players backing up what we have already, has to be a striker or at least someone to score between eight and ten goals before the season ends, plus some pace out on the wings as an impact player or making a switch to 442 easier.

Yes. If we can sustain this level of grit, determination and doggedness AND Lowe continues to kick on AND MGW returns we have every chance. Add a Striker into the mix * and we're looking proper contenders.
Interesting to note that for all the bashing Cooper gets, most of the bashers are bullish for our prospects 'despite' all the bashings.

MGW back definitely improves the midfield. Could we get Brewster on loan again? If he's not being picked he might jumpt at the chance and that'd be great for all sides I think.
We don't seem to do well with wingers under Cooper, better off with wing backs so maybe Brewster on loan and getting MGW fit would be enough?
Instead of going 442 maybe 343 would be better? Lowe can go left, Garrick or Routs on the right and that leaves Cullen, Ayew and Brewster/A N Other or maybe Gyokeres up front? |
