The SNP are not a progressive party-you are right Loh. Plaid Cymru used to call them 'Tartan Tories'. As you rightly say their background is in nationalist rural areas, but Salmond and Sturgeon have skilfully made them appear as a party acting in the interests of the people. They have managed to project the idea of a propersous centre-left Scotland, but have failed abysmally in areas like education and health. Far worse than the Labour-led WAG, but with more money and power.
They are just using Brexit as another tool.
