Can we stop with that nonsense now please, and realise the fact that we have an incredibly front loaded and lop sided squad.
Bidwell looked like a player that had been rotated, no sharpness and no fluidity and about 3 yards off the pace. Whittaker for all his effort has nowhere near the physical attributes to be playing at this level yet, he showed what he could be at times and is going to be a very good player I have no doubt, but he was knocked off the ball every time he was challenged and we gave up possession far too easily. Naughton is not a centre back and what benefits he may give us when we have the ball sadly we lose without it, we were dominated in the air in both boxes.
We need to play our best team and accept we will be tired at times, that’s the nature of football when you don’t have a big squad full of quality. Which is something we don’t have despite many pretending otherwise.
I am full of praise for the management team and their achievements thus far but one area where I feel disappointed in is I don’t think they have blocked out the noise efficiently enough. To me, it looks like they have allowed desperate opinion to be picked up by journalists and has allowed that to permeate their decision making. This latest game seems to be the epitome of that. It was a disjointed game with what looked like a cobbled together team.
Cabango, Lowe and Smith have to start.

But you are just chucking mud at a wall and hoping some sticks.
Criticising Cooper as well. At least you've got somewhere with that I suppose.
No mud. I’m not criticising anyone. I am making the obvious point that we play better with Cabango in the side than Naughton. Nothing shocking, nothing groundbreaking, nothing offensive.
I have said many times. You disagree. Great.

And yet your immediate thought when you got back, is me.
Interesting.
Yes, spare few minutes so I thought I'd check in on Obsessed from Brisbane... but not thinking for one minute you'd be still up knocking on for 4 in the morning.

Obvious we play better with Cabango - obvious!!
What did you say after the last ccfc game? Was that obvious too?

I’m absolutely obsessed with taking all things Swansea. I’d be concerned if that turned into an infatuation with a poster though.
Honestly have no idea what has gotten into you in this last however many months.

Can you check whoscored.com to see how many Swansea posts you made from September to December? I bet it was hardly anything compared to now as you were living and breathing Trump at the time.

You're a bit fake if you don't mind me saying.
I don’t mind you saying at all, not the first time you have been wrong in the thread.
Not sure how many I made, I was all about the election though. Fascinating. Fully behind the republicans too, as I will be the next election.
Don’t let that upset you though, life is far too short.

Doesn’t matter what the plan was, there was still areal battles - and we lost them. What your point may be is that there was consciously less in this game than others? But that’s not the point.
They scored from one and we were denied a dozen goal scoring opportunities from them. We also lost them all over the pitch. The stats are there for you.
Naughton had 7 AB’s (Naughton had the most areal battles out of the back 3, looks like he was targeted, it would be interesting to see if that’s a theme in other matches) Bennett had 5 AB’s Guehi had 3 AB’s
Roberts had 0 AB’s Bidwell had 4 AB’s Grimes had 4 AB’s Fulton had 3 AB’s Smith had zero AB’s
Ayew had 3 AB’s Whittaker had 7 AB’s (winning 1)
So over the course of the match (not including subs) we had 36 areal battles. 1 every 2.5 minutes.
Of those 36 areal battles we won only 14 of them, that’s 38%. The only goal of the game coming amongst that.
I really can’t lay my point out there any more than I have done. You are welcome to disagree but as I said, the stats are there.
So again, while there may have been other benefits to playing less physically blessed players, we suffered in the physical side of the game. Which is common sense really isn’t it. I think if he had his time again he would pick a different side, you guys think he picked the right side.
Happy to disagree.

We didn't lose an aerial battle for the goal.
We won the 1 aerial battle in that melee.
Flint had a free header.
This post of yours is a nonsense.

You seem to back the wrong horse a lot.
But it doesn't matter what the subject is or even if you start off half-arsed about it..... it WILL BECOME THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN YOUR LIFE for those few days/weeks.
You're funny.

Christ mate, keep up. We will be here all day if you are going to go back pages to discuss posts. This few minutes of thinking about me is really starting to grow.
That melee of which you speak was an arial ball in our box not dealt with. We have been through this already.

Back the wrong horse? Never. I maintain the Republicans are a far better leadership group than the Democrats, but that’s a different subject and one you know significantly less about.
While these things become very important to me, it’s comforting to note that no matter the subject - I will always be one of the most important things to you.
I still think you are an alright bloke as it goes, but Christ you can be odd.

I wouldn’t pick Naughton as a midfielder either. He’s a right back. It’s a stretch to say their roles are midfield players, their job is to provide support to Bidwell and Roberts.
We had 75% of the ball yes, that was always going to be the case once they went 1-0 up. I believe it would have been the case whether Naughton played or Cabango. Naughton had the most areal duels out of all our defenders, he was targeted. I understand your point that they weren’t peppering our box with crosses; it’s one we have both acknowledged.
But what was in the air, they dominated. Once of which was the only goal of the game. We had 11 corners which usually Cabango causes huge problems for opposition, yet we were unable to capitalise on those opportunities without him on the field.
With Cabango on the pitch we absolutely would have put crosses into the box from corners, without a shadow of a doubt.
But we are making the same points now. We disagree.
"Wow! Stunning corner routine, smashed the bar. Cardiff lucky not to be 2-0 down."
Guess who said that in the last game hahahaaha

Or are you now saying that the foundation for this whole thread is inaccurate as stats without context mean about as much as sleep does to you?
Matty wins the 1 aerial battle.
Then Freddie makes a good save from a player Hourihane did pathetically to mark.
Then Ayew and Matty go to sleep. No aerial battle - a free header.
How many aerial battles did we win in their penalty area compared to them in ours?

Yes, we all heard what you thought last November and your predictions etc
Didn't work out so well and neither has the whole Republican party. But yeah, please spare us more predictions and "insight", that will have to wait. It's now 4am by the way.
Do yourself a favour.

My prediction was that Biden would win a right race. Which is what transpired.
My prediction was that due to postal voting it will cause huge issues... which happened.
As I said at the time, God knows what you have been reading. But you were too foaming at the mouth to think straight.
An online forum mind....
