For those of you who work for the council (or any other state run body).

Have you ever noticed that when you are asked to take training which helps you identify extremism (this training focuses on religious and right wing extremism) there is never a category of Left wing extremism?
Are there no Left wing extremists?
No Antifa.
No BLM.
No Communists (they stand in elections).

Why do we think this the state encourages people to identify right wing extremists and flag them up but gives a free pass to Left wing extremists?

Duscuss.

There was very little of ‘the left’ about McRae, Tramp. None at all by today’s paradigm.

Opinion on nuclear arms isn’t a left-right issue.

Quite right. Never supported disarmament, though less convinced we need it now at the expense of other defence/intelligence spending.

Nuclear disarmourment would save £205 billion.

Thats why other small European nations spend their money on education and health.

Left or right it matters not, this is just totally mad.

Never going to use it, and feck all use vs terroists.

Could be useful against the Chinese though, that seems to be the next large international threat. Nukes are here to stay whether we like it or not (and believe me I don’t). Unfortunately they can’t be uninvented.

So you believe that the uk will take on China in a nuclear war ?
Please be serious.

Germany, Spain, Sweden, Greece, Holland, Potugal, Italy spend their money on useful things for real people today.
They dont seem scared of the Chinese.

The right wing gutter press create these ‘bogey-man’ threats. It was Russia.
They are not real.
China is not going to nuke the Hafod, or Aberystwyth.

You probably think the right wing gutter press made up those stories of mass rape and murder of German civilians as they marched onto Berlin in 45.
Russia and China are two countries where human rights are laughed at as is democracy

I am not a big fan of nuclear weapons by any means and I would like to get rid of them, but I wouldn't. I don’t trust Putin, the Chinese or almost any other government. Russia and China have huge armed forces, they are actively engaged in cyber “warfare” hacking and stealing secrets, Putin has sent spies to Britain and the Czech Republic where they have attempted to kill people or caused explosions, they’ve invaded part of the Ukraine, have mercenaries in Syria supporting Assad etc etc. China is expanding its might, threats to a Taiwan, building islands in the South China Sea, territorial disputes with India etc etc.

Funnily enough I was watching a BBC documentary on the V bombers a couple of nights ago (it’s on YouTube if anybody wants a good watch) and it pretty much explained why Britain had a nuclear capability.

With the American airbases in the UK the government at the time knew that if the Soviets wanted to strike against the Americans they would need to strike the airbases in the UK first.

As the Americans wouldn’t share their nuclear knowledge Britain pretty much had to build it from scratch to get onto the mutually assured destruction table.

Yanks can not be trusted, we need a few nukes pointed at them, just in case.

Continually being banned by Planet Swans for Porthcawl and then being reinstated.

Something like a combined half a decade late entering the World wars, they will pick on little countries but are not so keen taking on the big boys hence their reluctance in the World wars.

Ha! Reluctance to become embroiled in a world war is what sanity looks like, Tramp.

An idea isn't responsible for those who believe in it.

The tactic of labelling people who don’t agree with them as ‘extremists’ whilst forcing people to undertake ‘training’ designed by genuine extremists is a tactic of the Left the world over.

They'll pick on little countries....made me laugh. America was fairly isolationist back in the early 20th century, the country had pretty much all it needed. Most Americans still don't own a passport. At least in 2017 only 42% did have one. It was only after WW2 the USA started looking at more global issues and that small country thing...Russia, China...yeah, small countries.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?
