A pointless "look at me" thread.

Masks weren't compulsory so people didn't wear them. There's probably only one more home game until proof of vaccination has to be shown.

I can't wait for that thread.

How will having to show proof of vaccination help the club.
I’d imagine it’ll hit the attendance even further.

I’ve been double jabbed now, but won’t be proving it to anyone at the club.
More than happy not to attend matches.

Your choice, but if it becomes legislation the club will have to live with it. If you don't prove it you will not get in. As for loss of attendance, if you have paid it will make no difference to financial pot, if you haven't someone else can buy the ticket.

You’d miss out on watching the team you support, just because the government ask you to prove the vaccination you, along with most of the country, voluntarily took?

That seems bonkers to me. There’s no stigma around being vaccinated.

Yes I’m sure there’s a huge queue for tickets at Scfc at moment.
Whether someone has already purchased a season ticket will still mean the club would lose, merchandise, food and drink etc and also by the fact that the seat will be empty.

Nothing to do with stigma, and a lot to do with why do have I have to prove anything to anyone.
Of course I may have to do it when I fly, but I need to fly.

Doing your bit?

Itchy if they are not required, why would anyone need to do their bit? Unless someone is going to be a complete arse, and go near to people coughing over them, there is no need.

If you think you’re big and hard by not wearing a mask I don’t care, genuinely don’t care, and I can’t think of one single reason why you or dgt73, AFD or anyone else for that matter should give any thought to anyone who does choose to wear one. It makes zero sense to me that the likes of you would get agitated by something that someone else does that has no bearing on you, apparently.

It wouldn't harm the club at all, by then over 90% of the adult population would be vaccinated. Probably in excess of that in the Swans catchment area and mainly white crowd.

If it becomes legislation then tough, if you don't prove you are vaccinated you don't go.

I'm taking a flight in Saturday, my vaccine pass is on my phone.

I first used it to go into a gig on Friday evening, I sailed passed the queue of people paying £20 for a lateral flow test. The vast majority will be happy to show proof soon.

Battling against it is pointless.

I'd question that he actually supports the team at all. I was quite prepared to wear my mask last night but hardly anybody was so there was no point.
If the legislation is that we have to show our vaccination proof then I'll do it. Otherwise I've paid for 2 season tickets for absolutely nothing, that seems a bit stupid to me.
Still, if someone wants to throw over 300 quid down the drain rather than show proof of something they say they have, it's their choice.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

I couldn’t careless if someone wears a mask. You can wear a mask for the rest of your life if you want too.
Just stop trying to make others who don’t want to wear then feel like they need too.

It's not about being big and hard, they are not required, so what you were suggesting was wrong, I did not go to the game watched it on tv, but reading reports on here about the mask wearing, it seems your views are in the minority.

I suggested that it was a good thing for the club to do to protect the unvaccinated fans.

How to you get to the supposition that the double vaccination rule would lose the club over 10% of its support, that's a ridiculous assumption.

If 10 % of the population aren’t vaccinated, it’s a fair assumption that 10 % of Swansea fans aren’t vaccinated. Plus the fans who feel they need to be vaccinated to keep their jobs etc, but not really happy with it. Altogether Swansea will lose a significant amount of fans going through the turnstiles.

A large number of Swansea supporters are older where the vaccination rate is higher. There are also many children who will not need to be vaccinated. You can not guesstimate just to fit in with your agenda.

Most Swansea fans I’d imagine are not old most will be between 18-60
Children go with their parents so the 10% is still valid.
I’m doubled jabbed and won’t be going as soon as we have to show proof.
