Oh yes of course someone having covid weeks ago and then getting hit by a bus and dying is a covid statistic isn’t it lol

Of course someone dying after spending 29 days on a ventilator with covid wouldn't be included in the stats either.

they don't do post mortems if there has been a diagnosis, because they already know the cause

Post mortems are only done if the cause of death is unknown or unnatural (accident, suicide, homicide). They are rarely done for infections or pneumonia.

Quite Possibly. Almost certainly ‘C****ff Jack’ too given the same rants about Covid and daughters studying in the US. Same pernicious crap.

You will get covid over the next few months, even if you completely isolated.

There's a decent chance you'd get very ill, there's a small chance you'd get severely ill and there's a very small chance that you would die.

There's a decent chance you could suffer the effects for months.

There's also a chance you could pass it on to someone that something similar could happen to.

If you got vaccinated you may get very mild side effects, there's a small chance they'd be worse. The risks are similar to everyday life risks no more no less.

I'm sure it's pretty clear from here the anti-vaxxers post complete rubbish. Every post that isn't a wind up is debunked. Covid is not a conspiracy.

I'm living life as normal, as are my parents. Pubs, restaurants, gigs and holidays.

I'm expecting an appointment for a booster over the next few weeks. I can't wait.

To me there is one choice. Get vaccinated.

Thank you.

For having patience with me, you and the prof for that matter.. I think I would rather trust you, than some of the the blatant liars that are my so called friends in the real world.

Anyway thank you for taking your time to explain..

After reading this post, I was going to have it, was prepared to book, then when I said to a family member, hmm I may take the jab now, it was like wtf are you taking that for? It put me off.

Hopefully I can clear it up for you mate

You might get covid over the next few months, however if you completely isolated it would be highly unlikely you'll get it. If you get vaccinated you may also get covid in the next few months

If you did get it, there's a decent chance you'd have no symptoms at all and get over it pretty quickly. There's a miniscule chance you'd get severely ill and there's less than a 0.01% that you would die.

There's also a chance you could pass it on to someone that something similar could happen to, but then this is also the case if you're vaccinated

If you got vaccinated please be aware that there have been over a million adverse reactions to the injection. Some have sadly died. Don't forget, no-one knows the long term effects of the vaccine.

I know a lot on here have been hoodwinked by the barrage of propaganda, PR and advertising campaigns from the government. That's understandable. It's been non-stop. But do your own research and I'm sure you'll make the correct decision.

I'm living life as normal. Pubs, restaurants, gigs, sporting events and holidays.

There's talk of getting a third injection over the next few months! Then another? A lifetime of injections for a mild illness.

To me there is one choice. But each person is entitled to make their own choice without coercion.

Generally it's the elderly who take those, and even then there's still a large number who choose not to. You don't see those people labelled anti-vaxxers for opting not to have it

It is a matter of record that it is not classed as a "high consequence Infectious desease".
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/hi

So compared to the worst deseases it is mild, compared to a cold it is not.
Anything that can kill you without treatment has to be taken very seriously.

The what?Elderley.
So basically bugger them, anyone of say 60+.
Clowns like that will,if they are lucky ,see what life is like at a senior age and how utterly clueless they were when younger.
The attitude of many younger people towards older people is shameful, and manifested often in care homes where they are dumped unceremoniously for being in the way.

Our biggest shame.Lack of respect and family pride

For the vast, vast majority of people it is a mild illness. You cannot deny that surely?

Which is why I see absolutely no benefit for those aged 60 and below, or who don't have a health condition, in taking the vaccine

For the people who want them that's fine! I've nothing against that at all. You don't get posts from people moaning none of the swans players have chosen to receive their flu vaccine, like we've had with covid this week

What you were stating is a fact but in what relation to COVID the current situation?
Why did you just throw in the "fact"?

This year we have had 2 Vaccinations and now we already need a booster, but COVID is still mutating, the flu boosters are for specific variants already well known.

In other words although flu and pneumonia boosters are given to some every year they cannot be related to the current COVID situation where everybody vaccinated will need a booster to try and maintain immunity.

The flu jab is at most 40% effective and gives the elderly very little protection. The flu jabs are not boosters, they are supposed to be for a specific variant, which is an educated guess at best
