Martin seems to not recognise proper strikers when he sees them - the total cok-up and mis-management of Piroe early doors and now hat trick hero Whittaker. Whittaker's attitude is top drawer by all accounts. Proper positive and eager to learn and fulfil his potential. Always a smile on his face. There's none so blind as those who will not see. Martin, and some of the unthinking. . .

Im getting all cross again after this revelation. No footballer should be lauded without good reason but this kid is being ruined before our very eyes and nothing is aid.No bad language spats at all.Nada. And we are in the midst of those who see themselves as greater fans than others becaue they are always positive.Well, let's have some positivity towards this lad and suggest to Martin he needs to show him a little respect.

| Whittaker to leave Swansea City in January and a new striker to come in on 14:12 - Oct 25 by ReslovenSwan1 | Fulton and Dhanda look as is they are done at Swansea. Both are not played to persuade them to look elsewhere this January perhaps?. There have been replaced by Walsh and Downes. Are you suggesting Obafemi has a bad attitude? Hasenhutl was reportedly unhappy he was old. Martin has outlined to Whittaker some deficiencies in his approach. I have not heard anything that suggests he is happy that these deficiencies are being addressed. A good performance for the u23 this week will help no doubt. Perhaps scouts have been alerted. |
Fulton and Dhanda are not good enough to play for Swansea City. I agree with the manager.

| Whittaker to leave Swansea City in January and a new striker to come in on 13:54 - Oct 25 by onehunglow | Why did we buy him then. If he does have a bad attitude ,then the job of the coach is to improve it. Selecting Cullen before him is not ,neither is bringing him in the 89 th minute And now ,we believe Derby fans at face value |
Are these the same Derby fans that had had a whip around at their ground to buy Ferre's house up there, because they were a mahoosive team who were entitled to an Evil genius?

| Whittaker to leave Swansea City in January and a new striker to come in on 13:29 - Oct 25 by onehunglow | What is Cullen doing in training to justify selection.Running around is not enough.#This kid i a goalscorer although not many seem to revere them on here. I read much on here about positivity and support and this kid ,after scoring a hat trick gets none. If I were him,I would be looking to exit asap. |
He is. | |

Mr Martin has told him what deficiencies he needs to resolve before he can earn a place in the first XI. Perhaps yesterday he started to show progress. Ideally as a fan I would like to hear Martin say something like. "Whitts is working hard on some of the aspects we have discussed earlier in the season". Cooper did this with Lowe admitting that he was converting Lowe from a winget to Centre forward and it was a gradual process. If he goes to Lincoln in january he will need to demonstrate his improving grasp of Martin's philosophy. Hopefully Cooper O , Josph and Garrick are already doing this. Garrick in particular is showing great adaptability and seems to be developing physically barely missing any matches. At Swansea he was dogged by soft tissue lay offs. He is a player that can slot in as RWB, LWB, right winger and centre forward. A clear warning to Whittaker he cannot rest on his laurels.
