Beyond the implications already discussed in this thread, it would also likely put further pressure on inflation and the NHS. Although those considerations weren’t enough to stop the recent mandates for NHS workers and care home staff. In relation to the vaccine mandates and the NHS, we should ask what it achieves?
Will it lead to a golden age of no Covid and no waiting lists? Or will the NHS be under even greater pressure, understaffed and unable to hire, unable to clear beds.
