The average age of death from covid is 80. From covid. As in, died after contracting covid.
Before the vaccines were rolled out it was 82. The highest level of vaccination is in older age groups. Around 95% in the over 70's compared to 80% or less in the 20 - 40 group.
As your mathematical genius from studying engineering has pointed out to lower that average you need to include a higher proportion of lower numbers (age).
Since the vaccines have been rolled out, the age of death from covid has dropped. Along with the age profile of those receiving the vaccine.

The requirement to vaccinate is to protect workers, clients/patients and visitors.
We prevent nonces being in contact with the vulnerable for the same reason. Such an offender could argue this impacts their human rights. It's allegorical for sure, but the same principle. It's not to equate anything.. The employer has a duty of care. That is a legal obligation. | | | |
