| Britain is overreacting to Omicron on 22:16 - Jan 15 by A_Fans_Dad | In response to this comment "One SPI-B scientist told Ms Dodsworth: “In March [2020] the Government was very worried about compliance and they thought people wouldn’t want to be locked down. There were discussions about fear being needed to encourage compliance, and decisions were made about how to ramp up the fear. The way we have used fear is dystopian." "Steve Baker, the deputy chairman of the Covid Recovery Group of Tory MPs, said: “If it is true that the state took the decision to terrify the public to get compliance with rules, that raises extremely serious questions about the type of society we want to become. “If we’re being really honest, do I fear that Government policy today is playing into the roots of totalitarianism? Yes, of course it is.”" |
So you can't find anything then? That's the opinion of a back bench MP not an admission. Who in the government admitted to using scare tactic propaganda? You accused me of lying, I demonstrated I wasn't. You've had about 5 attempts now and you still can't do the same.

Mask wearing and working from home is not an overreaction. Wales and the others has overreacted, probably with best intentions, but restrictions should have been dropped by now.

Is anyone going to come clean and say “yeah , we used psychological scare tactics to influence people to become compliant”? Really? I think you have to look at the effects on people during lockdown - neighbours keeping tabs on what the other was doing, complete paranoia everywhere, demonization of people for minor things etc. That definitely happened so it’s not inconceivable to say that government could have utilised tactics of that nature.

Modelling the worst case scenario is futile. The worst case scenario for all of us is that we will get hit by a bus today so......stay in bed. We need probable scenarios based on good knowledge and insight from real world studies and previous epidemics. For example the Spanish, Hong Kong and Asian flu all peaked after about two years following the emergence of a weaker strain

The problem is you ignore anything I post by finding a reason not to accept it. Take the 200,000 Javid rebuke by the Office for Statistics Regulation (OSR). You appear to think it was the OSR that was admitting to lying when it was Javid and his department the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA). They used models instead of the real numbers and were roundly critisized for scare-mongering. Instead of 200,000 they announced it was actually 81,815 on the 13th and 95,063 on the 14th. This is a repeat of Hancock and the PHE who had to admit that they were exaggerating (another name for lying) the Mortality figures by including everybody who died after testing positive, regardless of how much later. After complaints by other MPs he had to have a review and issue new guidelines to only include those who died after 28 days. Which is still wrong. You have a complete history of using the same tactic of ignoring the message and picking on the minor details to misdirect or just plain outright lying and deny information exists. Remember NASA/GISS temperature Adjustments when their own graphs show the adjustments they made? How about Dr Martin and Vaccine and COVID Patents agreed to be real and owned by NIH and NIAID personnel? Or Dr Malone and his mRNA investigative work when you were shown his papers earlier than anybody you said developed it. HCQ doesn't work when it does as shown by many studies and admitted by the US goverment documents that showed they knew back in April 2020. The same for Ivermectin. Or 6 dead bodies not being worse than 3 dead bodies. Or Natural Immunity preventing some people from getting COVID when everybody around them do. Or that natural immunity prevents them getting ill or reduces their symptoms. Or 100% Vaccine efficacy against hospitalisation when 2800 people had already died of COVID which leads us on to negative Vaccine efficacy where double and triple vaxxed are more likely to get COVID, which data from Israel, Germany, Netherlands and the UK all confirm. The UK Case data using the standard Efficacy calculation show. Under 18s = 38% look positive efficacy from the vaccine. 18-29 = -122% 30-30 = -137% 40-49 = -151% 50-59 = -117% 60-69 = -89% 70-79 = -56% 80+ = -7.5% [Post edited 16 Jan 2022 15:17]

Of course they aren't, I don't think the government has they've based some decisions on the modelled worst case scenario. Up until omicron. Really the government had little choice. Those models are all in the public domain, much of the "psychological scare tactics" have been click bait in the media.

He can't do that for Dr Malone because all he has is his opinion based on msm hit pieces. The same applies to Dr Martin who's patent analysis has been confirmed by NIH and various grant details etc.g But that is what he and prof do, they use character assassination and "source" assassination to discredit any argument contrary to their perception, only their sources are acceptable. Currently vaccinated people do not have to self isolate after they come into close contact and test negative. While unvaccinated do have to self isolate. Why should unvaccinated people get extra sick leave just because they refuse to get vaccinated. Can only be good news if this encourages them to get vaccinated.

Dr Malone did not invent mRNA vaccines. He did some experiments as an undergrad. He disn't even get his PhD. The only article that supports his position of being the inventor is written by his wife. That's what he claims he is the sole inventor. He categorically isn't. It is possible that if he had maintained his involvment he could have been hailed a hero. He didn't and he isn't. Now he is trying to undermine them becasue he is bitter. That demonstrates what has already been said. He had a minor involvement - BUT DIDN'T EVEN COMPLETE A RELEVANT PhD. He claims he invented mRNA vaccines. Single handedly. The naming convention in those publications suggets he played a relatively junior role. If he led the study his name would be first or last, in the vast majority of those publications his name is in the middle. If you actully understood what you post you'd realise that you've just proved the opposite of what you and Dr Malone claim.

"BUT DIDN'T EVEN COMPLETE A RELEVANT PhD. " What do you call a "relevant degree"?

He didn't complete the PhD he was studying for when he claims he came up with these "discoveries". He forgot to mention that on the Joe Rogan podcast for some reason. He's not a research scientist to speak of but a medical Dr.

How do you know what he was studying for while he was doing that research? It is very odd that you hold Prof in such high regard because he has a Phd and an Msc, however as he says he has been involved in 130 odd papers on mostly Chickens with very few citation of the papers by other researchers. Then we have Dr Malone who has a Phd in Medicine who you say is a nobody who was involved in 90 odd papers on Human Medicine, many with citations in other papers numbering in the hundreds for each one. Yet you hold that contribution to human medicine in disdain.
