Zelensky inherited a very corrupt country, the judiciary was corrupt and the country was run by or or heavily influenced by oligarchs, most were heavily connected with Moscow. The oligarchs also happened to own the TV stations and were peddling the Moscow tune. As part of the work to lay the foundations for joining the EU Zelensky had to address the corruption issues and that meant taking on the oligarchs. He couldn’t take the 4 big hitters on at once and has done things slowly. He’s made progress in some areas and it’s been slow going in others.

On March 5, 2020, the Verkhovna Rada expressed distrust in Riaboshapka, dismissing him from the post of Prosecutor General. Riaboshapka himself called the decision "built on outright lies and manipulations", the dismissal was initiated by people's deputies, some of whom are called close to the oligarch Ihor Kolomoiskyi and representatives of the "Russian world" in the parliament
The Verkhovna Rada is the Parliament of Ukraine.
So not Zelenskyy but pro Russian elements.
Smolii wasn't removed until after he had resigned. He claimed political pressure had forced him to resign. There may have been political pressure but he wasn't removed, after tendering his resignation they sacked him.

According to your previous posts Russian tanks ( modern army etc) are not prone to getting stuck a so why would they on "good Ukrainian roads"
Most image/film clips I've seen show that when the column is attacked .( front and rear ) then due to poor training and leadership the column is trapped as they try to turn into the "killing zone" rather that try to break out through it . Not sure what you mean by it being "picked up later " once its been hit (rather than just getting stuck) then its effectiveness is minimum , good for scrap though . | |
