Apology accepted. Yep more people tend to stick with the safe option so you usually get a lot saying to keep with the status quo, but 37% saying get rid. Quite a large number isn’t it.

Nope just over a third with nearly two thirds saying to give him time. I think that is realistic.

Not sure what you mean by nope. You just repeated the same figures I gave. 37% of the Liberty capacity is 7400 fans. 37 in every 100 people want the manager out. That’s a significant number considering most people will usually choose the safe option as a default position if they are unsure. [Post edited 2 Feb 2022 17:05]

Looking on here most who want him out don't go to the liberty so your figures are hypothetical.

Don’t be silly, everyone that goes to the stadium loves what’s happening. Don’t you know the myth that is desperately trying to be spread? It’s only those that watch the games via other means that are unhappy with not winning and being 19th.

It is asking questions more than anything. Apart from the fact the club can’t afford at any level to sack him and all his staff.

| Should Russ go on 18:50 - Feb 2 by shingle | Have to say the have to have last word post you put up on another thread was fcuking brilliant fair play. |
Do you mean this one. Why Egomaniacs Have to Have The Last Word Do you know someone who always has to have the last word in a conversation or an argument? Everyone has come across this type of person and knows how frustrating or plain sad it is when you see it. Having the last word is closely associated with ego. Egomaniacs always have to have the last word. It gives them a feeling of power, as if they immediate draw all of the power of the person they are communicating with and become powerful due to it. This feeling is short-lived as it is only a state of mind, and most people who have any sense of understanding of human psychology knows that people that do this are only doing it because they feel insecure, competitive, hardheaded and lack confidence often in their own intellect or are in need of covering tracks. Greek Methodology explains this well. Echo, a mountain nymph, had to have the last word in everything, and it was her undoing. While Echo was beautiful with a musical voice, and people enjoyed hearing her talk, this eventually went to her head. Echo took so much pleasure in having the last word in both arguments and normal conversations, that eventually it became her undoing. As the story goes, she fell in love with Narcissus, and he rejected her. In return she begged him not to. Narcissus broke her heart and Echo wasted away and was doomed to a very sad life. A person who has to have the last word is fundamentally flawed. Their flaws are for the world to see. They may be charismatic and draw people in, but if you listen to their conversations and in the modern age, look at their posts on social media, you will see a common thread of egocentricity and a need for supremacy. Those who have to have the last word feel uncomfortable when that power is taken away from them and they usually end up fighting or in an argument because this has been taken away from them. They lash out and look for ways to rectify this. People with this "disease" usually strive to be the only voice over the people around them. They often never rise to the top in career or business, so they adapt their personal profiles so that they can be seen as "winning" in some area that they feel no-one can compete. Their need for respect and to be liked, more so than those around them, usually is their undoing. If you have to have the last say, think to yourself, "what am I afraid of?" Because ultimately, having the last say, means nothing.

That’s the default position for those unsure though, a pro active decision which will cost the club an awful lot of money will tend to be in the minority, but the bigger that minority the bigger the ground swell. 36% wanting a manager to be sacked is a VERY large number.

Jacket walked after 500 or so finally lost patience and started chanting for him to be sacked for a few weeks. From those I speak to who currently sit in the North East, opinions regarding Martin have turned very sour in the last few weeks. It will be interesting to see at what point the boos transition to the usual chants of "You don't know what you're doing" etc. Once those start, the robotic Sky Sports pundits et al. will drop their favourable coverage of Martin and (rightly) begin commenting on the negative aspects of his performance thus far. At that point, few ever regain the support of the fan base.

Over the two prominent Swansea sites. 406 votes 33.5% want him sacked 66.5% don’t want him sacked Literally 1 in 3 it now seems to be. Will be interesting to see how that develops over this month if results continue, it won’t take many changing their mind to make that a 50:50 split.

In election terms a 30% + swing ! Whichever way you look at it not a resounding mandate for sacking him ( not that we will have any say in it anyway ) You, Andy Cole, Dwight and Perch and a couple of others over both sites seem to be hell bent on trying to persuade other posters he should go. You are all deluded. Give it a rest and go sell crazy someplace else

No it isn’t, it’s a 16.6% swing. Who said it was a resounding mandate for sacking him? What is being said is 33.5% is a very large percentage of the fan base. Where have I tried to persuade anyone he should go? Haven’t I said literally the opposite? Please read posts before looking silly. Thanks.
