A pouting manager whose head had been turned weeks before. His dissatisfaction transferred onto the field of play. A bloody expensive day out. Couldn't even have a pint due to Covid restrictions.

It was gutting. Thing was in 64 I was 14. At half time, I was asking my dad about how we could get Cup Final tickets Had we won,we would have gone on to win the Cup. Momentum never forgotten

That display was as ad as any of Russ Martins displays. So disappointing. We didn't show up at all.
| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

To be honest left that game just feeling basically what a waste of a day. Where as the Barnsley and Northampton Play Off Finals left me feelings gurred beyond words at the time

Barnsley playoff as soon as that goal went in I just left everyone and was on the train in 5 minutes on my own sulking and it went on for days [Post edited 2 Mar 2022 17:22]

Same here. I can still see him moving the ball a yard at that free kick. John Frain....asshat!

TBH after Northampton and Barnsley I was so gutted I got out ASAP as couldn't bare seeing them and their fans celebrating. Last May it seemed such a foregone conclusion I sat there with my brother and watched the presentation etc. Seemed like an outer body experience - not really a part of it
