Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

So are you free to travel to Cardiff when you want next Saturday ?

For some yes.

"There are limited exceptions to this rule, which includes supporters who have purchased tickets through a pre-arranged direct travel scheme. Supporters who have booked tickets and have been successful in their request to travel directly to the Cardiff City Stadium will be contacted separately regarding their arrangements."

It states they will contacted separately. Builth is giving the impression they can do what they want, which somehow I can’t see

If we sell Downes I’ll sell my season ticket.

Just hope Downes decides somehow to stay. With the right manager ,he will be some player.
Whatever else, his next club will utilise his ability more than ours. He wouldnt be the first either.

Poll: Christmas. Enjoyable or not

The Joey transfer was a stick to beat the ex Chairman with at the time. Liverpool wanted big bucks for a player in his last year. Swansea offered a low ball £8m or so as the deadline approached and Joey was thought to be keen. If Joey wanted to go to Swansea he would have. The low ball offer for a player approaching the end of the window was the right thing to do.

Stoke offered a whopping £13m and Joey went there. He did not need to go and could have help Huw by demanding to go to Swansea. Roque Mesa did this to Swansea. Joey would not put Liverpool's nose out of joint and went to Stoke.

Stoke have outbid Swansea a number of times and owe their owner £180m plus. Swansea owners are owed nothing. Stoke and Swansea have followed each other in the league hierarchy. Stoke have been no better than Swansea for the last 5-6 seasons. Ince, Ryan Woods, Allen, Surridge, Wilmott were all players Swansea were interested in but were out-bidded.

From Joe's mouth at the time. Joe wanted to come back to Swansea especially because his wife wanted to but Jenkins never made an offer to Joe.
He was quite shocked and then the Stoke offer came in.

Joe made it clear he wanted to return and was waiting for the call. It never came, that I can confirm is fact from the man himself at the time, not my opinion.

If we are realistic then if any PL club comes in for Downes or any other player with a decent offer it’ll be right for all parties.

It’s more annoying when we let these players go for peanuts to Bournemouth or West Brom.

Going on what Mark Allen said we are building next season around Downes, rightly so IMO, therfore it would take an exceptional offer for him to go.

It is good to see you both agree with each other. Forum myth credibility is based on a majority opinion and repetition of fake news.

Swansea made a low ball offer of £8m in order to allow them to pay him a good wedge. With the window close to closing Liverpool would have accepted it if Joey had sat tight and refused to go to Stoke. Mesa Roque forced Swansea to sell him to Sevilla as he refused to go elsewhere for higher money.

Joey signed with Stoke because he wanted to go to Stoke. He liked it there so much he signed contracts there twice.

What footballers say is not very credible to me. Joey wanted the Potteries cash and stay on good terms with the Swansea fans. it is understandable.

Swansea made an offer to Liverpool according to the press. You are claiming they did not. You can believe the press or believe Joey.

Footballers create narratives to stay in with the fans and do not care about anyone else. Huw Jenkins was thrown to the Lions. Dan James did the same thing. Huw refused to sell him to Leeds on £15k a week and sold him to Man Utd on £64k a week 6 months later. Dan never thanks him for that good turn just bleats about the phone call that never came and the long trek to Leeds. He takes Leeds side as he knows who pays his wages.

Joey was running don his contract and was on big money for Swansea. Huw did what he needed to do and made a low ball offer as the window was due to close.

If Joey really wanted to come to Swansea he would have played 'hard ball'. He was not prepared to do this and he got a kiss on the head from the big German who is a very persuasive fellow. This saw £5m extra go into Liverpool's bank.

We will see for me the yanks won't pay his wages and taxi to wins st and I think so many articles on this website trying to break real news. Swansea independent should try calm it down or will be seen as fake news.

Again, with respect, absolute rubbish. No offer was made from Jenkins. Joe was waiting and no offer or even contact was made. Jenkins messed up and cost us big time, AGAIN. The only thing he got right in the last few seasons of his reign was screw dirty Leeds over Dan.

I included a press report which stated Swansea made a £8m offer. I believe i to be true.

Swansea made an offer of £8m confirmed by the BBC. Joey had no need to go to Stoke and could have forced a move to Swansea if he wanted to.

The bid was never made nor contact made with Joe. He was waiting, 13million was the asking price, we were touted as offering 8million, doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out where he was going to be sold to. The millions we wasted makes you want to cry. That article screams of Jenkins trying to keep the fans on board, "we are trying" without really trying at all. Which person has form for being economical with the truth, hmm.

An £8m bid was on the table. Liverpool wanted more. Stoke offered more. £13m.

If I was Joey and wanted to go to Swansea I would go to Swansea. I would tell Liverpool where I am going and tell them to make a deal with Huw Jenkins otherwise I stay. Huw might have been able to find an extra £1m or 2m. I am not a poodle that goes where I am told. Perhaps you are are a poodle?

Perhaps Joey is not a poodle and preferred to go to Stoke and a juicy financial package.
If Joey was determined to go to Swansea that his where he would have gone.

Swansea got a better offer for Roque Mesa than what Sevilla offered. Mesa went to Sevilla. He decided where he went not Swansea.
