The only reason the winner of the Wales / Scotland / Ukraine play isn't in the draw is due to the delay due to the Ukraine war. The draw was done yesterday but this play off route won't be concluded until June. So they put us in the bottom pot by default no matter which of the 3 will be there. As Trampie says if the final had been concluded last week as was scheduled and Wales got through we'd have been in pot 3 bordering on pot 2 due to our FIFA ranking.
Portugal for example went through via play offs but were in pot 1.

I am usually in agreement with the Wales deliberately disadvantaged view.
However with what has happened to Ukraine, I think everything is secondary.
If we do get there then happy just to see us take part for the first time in many of our lifetimes.
