Maybe you shouldn't think at all about the current state . You were not thinking positively when the reading equaliser went in,and you werent for the Forest ignominy.

We have made a catastrophic decision and have to accept it.It is all about how we can get the coach to exit and replace him with one who will nurture players not destroy them.

I feel a public fans apology is needed for Ben Hamer so maybe some should show support for a decent chap and a decent goalkeeper who's career has been killed by one individual smiling coach

You’ve been churning out the same bilge for over 10 years, you used to do it during our promotion season to the Premier League, so nothing different is expected from you.

For most football fans ,the main interest is who goes up and down.

Personally,I hope Wrexham can get out of that trap of a league and Leeds get the drop.and Hudds get back to the Prem.Their fans deserve it.

The three games before that?

Go on , I dare you to say something positive.

We beat one of if not the porrest Cardiff sides in along while...nothing to be banging the drums about but a win none the less and we scored 4 goals.

The win against Millwall different gravy above us in the league and had been in a rich vein of form good win.

We then went on to get a third win on the trot overcoming relegation bound Derby before our run of draws occured

We scrapped a draw at home to bottom team Barnsley.....after going 1 nil down then surrendered a 3 goal lead away to Reading who are also struglling and who were beaten at home by Cardiff the immediate next game after we did the double and Cardiff who we trashed 4 nil found themselves 1 nil down yet came back to win...whilst we found ourselves 4-1 up and ended up with a 4-4 draw.
Our vext home gme a toughie against Boro who under Wilder are doing well another manager who had no preseason yet is on the firnges of the playoffs...again we scrapped a draw at home then came Bournemouth where I would have settled for apoint before the game but yet again we capitulated a 3 goal lead.

Our manager failed to prepare the bench and his tactics second half were naive.

There are some positives but on closer analysis Im sorry there is more negative than positive about that run.

Russell Martin is not learning....

Would that be the poor cardiff side, who's manager won manager of the month for March directly before we played them. They must have been in some form.

Funny how a very poor performance and scoreline on Saturday brings all the usual anti - Martin posters out.
Dr P been on here in abundance, OHL started posting multiple times about Martin's shortcomings ( thankfully he seems to have calmed down now.
Now I notice AC is back.
Without reading his posts I can guess that they are anti Martin and no doubt contain his favourite word "twp"
Shame as it has been great on here overall the last couple of weeks.
In fairness OHL has posted lots of sensible posts, until Dr P reappeared...

Surprisingly people react to poor results.
Last season there were many oin here whinging and attacking the manger despite us winning games...posters used personal insults too regarding his appearance and place of orgigin.

But that was ok then?
Some posters do go ott .....but everyone is entitled to their opinion

A forum is just that a place for discussion and exchange of opinions and views. It is adopted from ROman times when the great and the good wouldmeet daily in the forum to discuss things of the day....I am sure they were never all in agrremment and ended up with daily discussions whabout who was thier favourite Ceaser, who was the best legionaaire the army had.

The forum has been quiet of late with th eabsence of certain posters.

During whihc time there were threads about players and all was calm.

If everyone was all singin from the same hymn sheet a forum will die as back in ROman times the foruim was where debate occured[ and maybe during close season we can debate on eho was the greatest keeper, left back right back centreback during the season focus should be on results team performance etc.

Guess what there will be disgreements over resuilts team performance mangers approach just as ther will be over "polls" on players.

This is the hyrpocrosiy I continually spoeak off last season th emanager seemed fair game yet this season anyine who is "negative" about the manager is not a proper fan is dragging the site down.....

OK we beat "the in form side" 4 nil then got two more wins thats 3 wins before we had a run of 5 draws during which toime we surrendered 3 goal leads to get rescue drwas and also came from behind against relegated Barsnley where we struggled ....Lets not try to deflect and dress it up

We had an unbeaten run but whilst it started well it certainly fell away

Can't disagree with that. My point was Cardiff are rubbish this season, but were not when we played them, you can't devalue the double.

But they were still rubbish, playing a rubbish side on good form still means they are a rubbish side.

Just means they put a few results together.

One could say that about us. Our form in the last 10 games has us 4th, including the implosions. Stats make of them what you will.

And they would be correct, hence why many of us are concerned.

We are rubbish and we really shouldn’t be. Putting a few results together doesn’t alter that, hence why we just got absolutely obliterated by Forest.

Not suggesting anyone is not a proper fan.
If you read any of my threads over the years, you will never see me being personal about anyone's looks, etc.
I deplore the personal attacks on Cooper, Rooney, Martin,Jenkins and many others.
I cannot change my view on the way things went with Cooper at Wembley or the aftermath. I would agree this colours my view of him as a coach.
I was hoping on Saturday our current manager would show the old manager how it should be done.
Sadly it was pitiful on Saturday and could have been double figures.
Forest and their fans were brilliant on Saturday.
There have been several games where I have been critical of Martin - Saturday, Blackpool away, Reading away and home are a few examples. Some games have been turgid and boring.
However there were several games under Cooper that were likewise turgid and boring, the final being the most turgid of them all.
I want Martin to succeed as our manager as at best, the football is a delight to watch. However it has to be more consistent, quicker and of course much tighter at the back.
Otherwise it will fail.
My issue with certain posters isn't about having a "discussion " - it is that some only see it one way. AC and OHL in particular are apt to personally attack Martin which I am sure you will agree is equally unwelcome ?

I’m not sure why your are boiling our season down to 9 matches?

We are 15th.

It’s not good enough, regardless of the sequence of results within that season.

The way folks went on that run was something special
Perspective we beat a poor Peterborough side now relegated up there with an injury time winner we gave away a one goal laed to recover a 2-2 draw before Piroe pooed up in injury time

We hung on at home against Birmingham for a draw who should have seen us off the park had they been able to finsh yet another dreadful performance ny us....then lucky fo us came the international break when we beat Cardiff whihc meant the historic double and Martins deity was made as a result

We did get a good win at Millwall and then beat Derby but to scrape a draw at home to relegated Barnsley?
Surrender a 3 goal lead at Reading?

This unbeaten run was nothing special but when you oanalyse it there are certainly more negsatives than positives nothing that shows we were improving!

Wrong. I now never mention his name.

I attack his approach, his tactics, his insulting our club as in some way not proper, his treatment of young players and the way he has dumped decent players .
You are supporting an individual when you should be the club.
You attack me personally too,why not stick to content. I don’t expect it of lifey as we ve been at it for almost 15 yrs but you can.

I will always always stand by what I say even if my opinion is in the minority of one .

Using phrases like "The Messiah" doesn't let you of with that one. It is still clear you mean Martin.
However I am not attacking you, just your opinion.
I do my best to stick to the topic.
You are also famous going off on a tangent ( as are many )
Nothing particularly wrong with that
What I have said that you, along with AC and Dr P, have posted more from Saturday afternoon than in the recent period before.
I am glad you will always stand by your opinion.
