A great day, I know, cos I was there! I was there with 2 friends, one sadly died 6 years later. The other went home (he was originally from Australia) and I never saw him or heard from him again. I was 13 but it was my birthday 9days later, what a present.

Yep, that is osmething I was talking about to someone this week,
I wasn't there, due to work and other commitments, I had to listen on the radio, , as nerve racking as waiting for the birth of one of the kids!!!!
I also admit to having leaky eyes at the end.

You can't help yourself, oh and the proper club was almost extinct 4 years later
Take a day off from your Martin bashing, bound to make you feel better
I know well remember that sad day and going to watch us at Cardiff when we were effectively wound up.
I m doing no worse than many did last season in fact less as I have not isulted the managers orgins or appearance for example.
I sometimes post "tongue in cheek" in responding to some persosns and my brain links posts ....it didnt help when RM made comments about a proper club.
Ive praised MArtin this season too though that gets missed....If people want to continue to support him thats fine we can all look forward to is next season now the transition is over and RM will have a full preseason....and hopefully the players he needs.....no more hiding then if its working I will praise him if its not then you know waht to expect
do you mean a "proper" coach at a "proper" club? I wonder when we might get another day like that or the 30th May 2011?
Yes I do and Tosh was. He brought players on. He brought in experience ,how about that. He brought in guts ,he brought in young players and nurtured them instead of being farmed out. The experienced ones like Smithy and Cally brought on our younger players
Our present coach is not really of the same planet. He never will.Tosh was a great players at a great club for a start
