| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

I think they were the better side, but just couldn't finish, and Ben Davies and others were outstanding. They most prob would have won on another day, but our boys were solid today.

Absolutely mate Ben has had a great season at Spurs he’s matured into a quality CB his reading of the game and the timing of his tackles/blocks is incredible.

He was also instrumental in calming the players down after we scored.

Indeed he was he has matured into a leader as well with his experience it seems light years away from that day he came on to replace Neil Taylor for his Swans debut (think it was Sunderland ??)

| Wales on 20:52 - Jun 5 by onehunglow | Odd isn't it Gwyn. Ok I live near to the border but I have never found any real anti Welsh sentiment in 46 years here. Most English fans want us to win when faced with a foreign team.Fact. Our club was respected by most if not all English premier league clubs. It's embarassing to read that which Builth has shoved up on here and it should be taken down as it is divisive . |
Depends where. Utter distain in Hereford if you speak Welsh. Worked in border areas for years and heard considerable anti-Wales sentiment and, on occasion, outright abuse. And I didn’t generate it.

Michael always said Bens best position would be at centre back. Ben has had a marvellous career at Spurs and with Cymru. The best of us.

English people don't really seem to care but some do still carry a lot of hatred for the Jocks though.

And it’s the same in the north of England. It’s a hard pill for some to swallow We speak the same language too.

| Wales on 20:10 - Jun 6 with 777 views | alltjack | I beg to differ. My daughter moved to Lyndhurst, a hugely affluent area, and capital of the New Forest in Hampshire in November 2018 along with her ( English) partner at the time as they had both secured jobs in the area. Myself and my wife visited for the first time in February 2019. Coincidentally, it was the weekend of Wales v England in the 6 nations, so we decided to watch the game in a pub in the main st, where my daughters partner had started frequenting to play pool and mix with the locals, the four of us watched the game, which Wales won, at full time I went to the toilet, and got followed in by two locals calling me a filthy welsh c**t, shitting myself I decidede to grow a pair and challenge them and they subsequently lost theirs and f**ked off. Besides doing the obvious tourist thing in England, this was my first experience of drinking in a local, you only get one chance at a first impression and that was mine, I shan't be giving it another go thank you very much | | | |

No just qualified for the first time in 64 years. I remember being gutted as a kid when Joe Jordan did us for the 78 world cup and was at the Vetch against Iceland for 82 Ninian Park against the Jocks for 86 and was at the Romania game for the 94 World Cup. So for me it means hell of a lot. But you just stick to supporting Rangers and England. [Post edited 6 Jun 2022 23:30]
