Superb signing this and reading that we paid 400k upfront with the rest over installments!
All of a sudden Cabango/Naughten/Darling sounds very decent....2 youngsters with good potential with an experienced head in there, something to push on with.
Hopefully we will see the deadwood as such in Bennett, Fulton, Cullen, Whittaker off.
Think I can include Walsh and Garrick in there but part of me wants to see these 2 given a chance.

I had a look, there's some bitter people over there. It's like they don't understand how football works.
We all know that if Martin succeeds here he (and several players) will be on their way up the chain.
Many of us on here had our own "traitor" moment with Martinez but likewise, many of us knew/know that the words are cheap and actions are what matter. We had Wigan fans lording it then he left them too. Loyalty in football, yeah, there's lots of it but it mostly comes from us fans and hardly ever from players managers or even owners these days. | | | |

There is a decent player there but his record is 5 goals in 20 games at Lincoln I believe.
I would certainly be questioning us if we were signing players with that sort of record in that league.
I think given his age, he should be at worse pushing for a start in the team but is clearly far from that standard so pastures new will be best for all involved unfortunately. | |

The manager had numerous opportunities in the last 6 or so games to play Ogbeta but clearly doesn’t fancy him. The recruitment fella who brought him has left now also. Clearly not the managers choice - didn’t we pay a few hundred thousand for him with only 6 months of his contract remaining ? I can only remember him on the pitch once at our home ground after he arrived injured |  | | |

Yes 300k the manager and the scouts need to be in agreement over players we not in a position to waste money.
