Martin Lewis is a media whore who loves the lime light and stating obvious things, watching his money saving shows on TV does make you question some of the British public.
Didn't he get loads of abuse about 10yrs when he was telling everyone who would listen to him to stick their money into a company offer 6% on savings it then went bust and people lost all their money [Post edited 19 Jul 2022 17:32]

Don't buy anything unless you've checked if you can get cashback via topcashback or quidco. There aren't many places you can't use it.
I save, genuinely save, about £450 a year.
I even buy on the Internet via topcashback whilst I'm in the shop and click and collect there and then. |
On top of that cashback, you can earn 3-8% cashback in crypto on every purchase you make with this pre-paid Visa card.
Use my link to get $10 free.
The card is free and you get 3% cashback PLUS 1 ‘perk’ (full cashback for Netflix, Spotify, or £10 worth of shopping in Aldi, Lidl or Sainsburys etc.) without any subscription.

Buy a sack of spuds. 25kg makes 56 meals.
Sack of spuds is a tenner.
18p a meal.
Boiled, fried, mashed, baked, sautéed, and however you like.
Cheap as chips. | |
| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Use your freezer. Buy discounted foods that are going out of date from the supermarket. Get them home and then re-package them and put them in the freezer....and use them at a time that suits you. Bread is always good.....ham, sausages...the list is endless | |

This may save a few quid, free travel on buses in Swansea from today, every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday within the Swansea area., up until the 29th August, hey why pay a taxi to go for a night out, when you can just hop on the bus.
Just noticed all journeys must start before 7pm.
