I'm talking about last night - not the next six months. He put in a really solid shift last night after making a very poor back pass in the first half for which the crowd rightly had a go at him and he was off the pace several times, but he kept up with Obafemi sprinting from his own half in the 92nd minute ( and that takes effort!)

I certainly felt from being there and the noise the crowd were making that we had turned a corner.
I think Joey made a massive difference, he had fire in his belly and wanted to make an impact.
Hopefully the 2 late goals will spur people on rather than knock the confidence, the team was rocking and the stadium was.........the corner can certainly be turned and very soon I believe.
I certainly feel the swing going in the right direction, no need to lose heads and spout rubbish in anger or frustration.
We need to get our heads down in the next few weeks and certainly need to get a few heads out the club door(Fulton needs to shifted for sure). | |

That was a better performance than Blackpool, which in itself was better than Rotherham. Blackburn was woeful. Joe Allen was clearly a big part of the improvement.
I wouldn’t have seen 2-2 as a disaster before the game.
Clearly we imploded at the end and that’s indefensible. Others have pointed out it happened twice towards the end of last season. It’s a worry if we panic when teams go kitchen sink against us. Needs to be sorted out pronto.
While I completely agree with comments about seeing games out, I’ve seen one or two posts criticising Obafemi at the end. A pacy striker in a central position who thinks he can go through on goal has to do it, even at 2-1 in injury time. If a ball is played down the line, or you’re not likely to get a shooting chance, then fair enough, go to the corner. It was just a phenomenal tackle and even then, Piroe on top form would have likely finished it. | | | |
