On Saturday last,having retunef to the Fire Station car park,I reached into my pockets and couldnt find my keys.The boot can be opened however and for a while I stood there motionless in dreading what I could do. My breakdown insurance doesnt cover loss of keys so I suggest you all check if yours does cover such eventualities.
I did find my keys though having dropped them nearby .
I m just curious if some punter HAS lost their keys and the cost of a locksmith to gain entry .

I was very late in meeting Jon and rather irate.

It was a horrible moment and maybe some will benefut by checking if they DO have cover for lost keys. Fobs are easily lost .

In black and white days , a spare key would be screwed or put in a box and fixed somewhere underneath the car. Trouble for me I would have trouble getting back after getting it. Probably cause more of a disturbance,
AA have some repairers now trained and tooled up for lost key situations.

A couple of years ago I was out training the dogs, in a large field of rushes and tall white grass, after I finished the training session, I walked back to my truck.
When I got to the vehicle, after a frantic search I couldn't find the key's, so there I was in the middle of nowhere, no keys and no mobile phone.
Frustrated, I decided to walk back to the field, even though the chances of me finding them were next to zero, anyway! when I got there I gave the dogs the command to "fetch it" and sent them out, couple minutes later one of the dogs (Blue) came bounding back with the keys in his mouth.
