I’d be amazed if Levy paid 20 million for him.

Who would you prefer Piroe or James? For me James all day long. Both with a notional £20m valuation.

Not quite. Value is driven by the market. Not by the seller. There isn’t a club in the land that would pay £20m for Piroe, the that isn’t his value. In fact we priced him out of a move by setting that price (price, not value). Piroe’s realistic value is anywhere from £8m-£12m. Dan James has already been sold for £15m and £25m. So the market indicators are there to reference and estimate value. £20m+ seems accurate, £25m not out of the question. Which means when both are sold, it’s far more likely James will be sold for closer to X3 as much as Piroe will be than them ever being sold for the same amount.

Swansea fans over value Swansea players as a method of discrediting the ownership and Winter. Some will argue Piroes should not go for a penny less than £18m while claiming James is grossly overvalued at £20m. Only when the two are directly compared the logic of the over pricing of Piroe becomes evident to them. Swansea have done some great selling business especially considering the covid slump.

They certainly do. Not sure if it’s for that reason or just naivety of the situation. But these latest developments have put you into a tricky spot. Blame is now being actively and intentionally shifted away from the manager and bizarrely put on the ownership. As a big supporter of the ownership you may have to start being realistic with Martin’s gargantuan failings again, otherwise they will be laid at the owners door (quite ludicrously I may add). This manager has taken great support from the owners considering our financial position, certainly greater than any other manager I can remember outside the Premier League, and is turning us into what looks like relegation strugglers. It’s like I’m living in an alternate dimension at the moment that people are genuinely excusing this bloke.

Frankly,Im not sure I have the strength to "slag him off" .I think that applies to many fans. I cannot believe the posts regarding the "superb" atmosphere. I think he has beaten us down . We need picking up
