Things are becoming more and more polarised...Threads like this posted after a win are bound to raise controversy given the headline....Martin has had and still does many doubters but after every win there are launched "attacks" on his critics.
We are all entitled to our opinions we will not all agree..you see this at the match those sitting around often see the game a different way will have differing views on a player, how tha game is going and so it is on here.BUT it seems recently there is an agenda to be always calling out anyone who has dared to criticise Martin....
I have been one of those, I have given him some credit for last nights comeback we are definitely moving in the right direction...There is still a fear we may see the reversion to last years way of playing....funny last night Fulton was playing as Downes did mainly as a centre back.....in fact the Sky commentator called him one...I was nt there it is always difficult for me to make the evening kick offs ..
Why cant everyone accept everyone is entitled to their point of view some will always go OTT and often its due to their passion but when those that do use data to back argument rather than emotion yes it can become stiff but then numbers and facts often are.
Surely what we all want is a winning successful side it seems though there is too much of "i told you so" going on from both sides...lets enjoy the ride as long as it lasts but lets not pretend Martin has morphed in to Pep but that he is now starting to learn and becoming less stubborn | |

I don’t dislike your posts, but constant referral to other posters and how this site is run every single day when you are more than capable of football discussion in a very specific way isn’t helpful. Undermining the site over petty matters on here is putting people off posting or debating on the forum.
It cannot go on, and if you do leave the site it will be because of the way you continue to do as I have mentioned, and mentioned already three times today. It’s really as simple as that, I won’t be replying to you or those one or two others who very poorly try and copy you further.

But you are ignoring the constant referral to me? It appears it’s fine for one but not for another. STID for example mentioned me about 8 times without reply earlier, but that seems okay? Dgt73 follows me around like a bad smell trolling 24/7 while swearing and abusing OHL - no issues.
If the above was stamped out correctly (as they are when those that don’t like RM do it) we wouldn’t have an issue. Currently you appear to be asking me to accept all the personal digs, comments and goading and suggesting my posting is an issue due to my polite responses to them.
The key is to stop the goading, the hounding and the trolling. Without that there is no reaction. Yes it will annoy some pro Martin fans but that’s life of being a forum owner, sometimes you have to upset those on your side. Banning me certainly won’t be anything of my own fault, it will be the inability to handle my views and how I deal with the constant trolling and goading on here.
We will see how it goes, but as I’ve said many times, I’m perfectly happy with the way I post and think under the circumstances I’m remarkably restrained and never stoop to the levels of nonsense directed at me, the nonsense that is 99.9% of the time ignored. [Post edited 19 Oct 2022 22:40]
