Big mistakes are being made and must be rectified, but this league works on very fine margins. If we had scored a goal against Norwich we would have been on a run of one defeat in nine. It just shows the margins between success and failure.

I agree. We are only 2 points off it now.
Joey Allen is on his way back. Oli Cooper is a key player.
Hopefully Piroe can hit the back of the net a bit more.
Jay Fulton is one hell of a team player so I disagree with certain parts of the match report. He really needs to start Flex and Cooper but there’s only so many who can play. I also thought Ntcham had a decent game, we just need to get that ball forwards quicker. Do that and someone is going to get a battering.
A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

But we didn't score that goal and even if we had, Norwich may well have tried harder to score again.
If Martin starts Oli and Oko-Flex and we play from the start as we have in second halves then maybe we will rise.otherwise we will keep having to chase games.
We have 2 defeats in 7 and 5 draws in the league, we haven't won a league game since beating Cardiff n 23rd October. That is very clearly relegation form. Yes we are only 2 points off the play offs but also only 8 points off the relegatin zone with half the season to play.
I still think our squad is good enough for a tilt at promotion, what isn'tgood enough is team selection and tactics. We had a winning run but martin reversed those tweaks and now look!

I don't disagree with your points, I'm just pointing out that the majority of matches in this league, including ours are very close and won or lost on fine margins. We could be top 6 in two months or we could be bottom half of the table, it's what makes this league so interesting.

Yeah, it's only because the league is so tight (apart from 2/ 3 teams) that we are still up in 10th.
Those fine margins for us though come down to Martin's intransigence, his refusal to accept his way doesn't work and that we can win games with less possession with Oko, Oli and Joe starting. If we'd made those changes at H/T we might have won yesterday, who knows. When fine margins are individual performances on the pitch that's one thing, when the biggest of those margins are the managers decisions it needs to change.
Under our current manager ? You don't mean bottom 6? Agree we are 2 pts off playoffs but 5 points off bottom 6. Are things likely to change. I've seen nothing to convince me we are gonna score bucketful's of goals but seeing plenty of signs of conceding plenty. Lucky he's keeping Benda between the sticks.

Fine margins but the recruitment plan for January IF the Americans agree will be the key.

All clubs in the top 16 will probably be thinking the same. Only Wood of his summer recruitments is starting regularly I'd love to but cannot see any major recruitment that would make a difference to the type of football he insists on playing.

I will be marrying Trampie in February
We could sign Messi, Bale and Ronaldo and you still would find negative points to post. Imagine how much worse it might be if you actually put in the hard work and did the miles to watch us in person like many of the Jack Army do every week ? Never mind Christmas is coming ... and Russ will still be here in January. As I told you he would.

We could be bottom of the League 2 and yiu d still be looking for positives
Martin needs to change his stubborn ways of keeping the ball for keeping the balls sake. We have a very decent team that currently he is not getting the best out of.
Could go either way but will probably see us end where we are with Martin at the helm.

I was the first to doubt Russ.
I stand by every word
Merry Christmas
Yep sitting here full of effects of Covid but still looking for positives. Can't live any other way. Life is too short and full of curveballs to be any other way

Life is indeed short. I believe it’s the only one we have but we ll leave that for a New Year debate
Until RM addresses the deficiencies in defence we are going nowhere. Wood, Cabango, Naughton, Latib selections just do not work when any 3 of those 4 are on the field together

And I wonder who is charged with addressing deficiencies ,the ones that reappear all the time
Yesterday another game not won.
3 goals down and the coach is upset. It’s a start anyway . Signs of positivity .
