Well then, in order to relieve congestion on th M4 they are going to build 5 new train stations, most likely in South East Wales. Putting aside the obvious shafting of the rest of South Wales again, why do they think this will work?
1, trains are already packed and expensive, more stations won't help that.
2, it won't take the business traffic off the M4, reps will still use their cars, lorries will still need the roads and to the other road users it'll be a matter of finance and convenience. is the train cheaper and easier, if not they won't use it. More stations won't change those things.

Not really surprising as about 80% of the Welsh population decided the Senedd transport policy would be bad for Wales with all the money being spent on railways lines into Cardiff while the rest Wales is starved of investment or new jobs. |

Good evening Mr Hedges.
I wonder if you could share your thoughts on the forthcoming decision regarding the new Trauma unit who's location is currently undecided . I believe there are two options currently available ,one at Morriston Swansea and the other at the Heath in Cardiff .I would like to think that the decision will be based on the needs of the whole of south Wales including the west and mid Wales where in the past so little thought appears to have been directed when it comes to those unfortunate not to live within a 30 mile radius of Cardiff .There are currently two units in Bristol which I’m sure could accommodate those unfortunate enough to need that level of care , all within a more than reasonable travelling time for all concerned within that catchment area. As my MP I’m sure you’re aware of your responsibilities to your constituents and will vote to ensure that we in this part of south Wales receive the NHS support that the area deserves .

It's iyyerly bizarre that Drakeford voted the way he did on the motion against his policy. I say his policy because he appointed Waters and gave him his remit. If anybody thinks what Waters decided wasn't with Drakefords full approval they are barmy.
