Luton Town ready to capitalise on the visit of Swansea City4th Mar 2023 10:52 Luton Town manager Rob Edwards see’s this afternoons fixture against Swansea City as an opportunity to capitalise and push forwards in his desire to get the Hatters in to the play offs come May.0
Pride & Clarity ? Okay, then shove it up them Swansea City. It’s passion we need 4th Mar 2023 11:39 The turn of the year has been alarming for Swansea City fans and despite selling out away at Luton Town today not many of the Jack Army will be brimming with confidence, if any. Nothing has been convincing at any level for the majority of the season, and many Swans fans will see only one result today.0

Having seen the "highlights" it seems pretty much the standard, Luton had 3 or 4 pretty good chances to score we only had the Cullen offside. We surely cannot keep going with this, every single game the opposition are gifted chance upon chance whilst we struggle to create anything of note. Martins clearly losing it as was shown by his kicking off at the end. Glad i put a £1 on us to go down now because i cannot see us winning another game this season.

Didn’t Piroe have chances that were also offside? As away games go our performance was no worse than we see from others at Swansea and reallyonly one goalkeeping error away from a point. Not defending anyone just pointing out, maybe a little overreaction based on the run of form we are on.

The whole of the Championship is decided on fine margins.

The run of form I am basing my judgements on started in the summer of 2021.
With the benefit of nearly two seasons’ hindsight, does anyone believe: - There is a coherent rebuilding process going on that we should all patiently get behind? - The players Martin inherited are stronger, fitter, more skilled and more confident than they were when he was appointed? - The players he has brought in have strengthened the club and the squad is more balanced as a result? - The first hour of yesterday’s game was anything other than embarrassing?

The stats read: Big chances- Luton 3 Swansea 0 Big chances missed - Luton 2 Swansea 0 Hit woodwork - Luton 2 Swansea 0 Shots inside box - Luton 12 Swansea 6
Thats the same sort of offensive performance we churn out every week, whilst Luton arguably couldve been 2 up by halftime.
Youre free to have your opinion, its just dire at the minute and without forcing Martin out i genuinely do not see anyway forward apart from slipping into League 1. Whether that be this or next season.
