A home draw against winable opposition.
Having witnessed top flight football under Tosh and more recently 7 years in the Premiership I have ticked this off on my wish list.
To win the FA Cup is my elusive Swans dream.
Every year I wonder if this could be the year.
I was 9 when we lost to Preston in the semis in 1964.
More recently I've never forgiven Carvahal for fielding an under strength team in the Quarter final against Tottenham.
Another semi final was more than achievable that day but was sacrificed for the sake of concentrating on avoiding relegation.
Time is running out to witness my dream.

Been fortunate to have gone to World Cup final (2006) Euro Final (2016) seen games in all top English stadiums, Barcelona etc, China,

The Swans at an FA Cup final is on all our bucket lists but we need to get a move on if I’m going to see it.
I saw Manchester City beat Leicester at Wembley in 1969. The MD of the company my father worked for was on the Leicester board hence the tickets. It was an experience for a 12 year old at the time and at least we have seen the Swans win a major trophy there since. Sadly my father was too ill to travel in 2013 and died from dementia two years later. He first took me to the Vetch in 1966. On the other hand, my son was with me in 2013 and two years earlier for the play off final which was wonderful. It’s what we do, we pass on the love of the club and the game. | | | |

I was at West Ham v Swans 1980
We lost 2-0 and probably should have won.
I think that was probably the best opportunity since 1964 we have had to win the FA Cup
West Ham away or Liverpool away would do for me.
